Scaperotti pitched 7.0 innings with no earned runs allowed, five hits allowed and seven strikeouts to earn the win in Mercy's 6-1 game one win over Southern Connecticut State on Sunday. The junior then went 1-for-3 with an RBI in game two of the day.

The freshman infielder continues his strong start of the season, hitting .333 at the plate with seven hits, one double, and drawing three walks as the Saints split a four-game series with Southern New Hampshire University.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Kolongi Goins, Mercy
Senior | Outfielder | Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Goins hit .429 (3-for-7) with two runs, and two stolen bases in Mercy's split with Southern Connecticut State on Sunday. The senior went 1-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in the 6-1 game one win. The outfielder then went 2-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in game two.

Ryan Hillery, St. Thomas Aquinas
Redshirt Sophomore | Infielder | West Sayville, N.Y.
Hillery swung a hot bat for the Spartans, hitting .375 (6-for-16) with a double and a home run. The redshirt sophomore second baseman also drove in five runs and scored eight times in four games on the team's North Carolina trip last week.

Lorent Hoti, St. Thomas Aquinas
Redshirt Junior | LHP | New York, N.Y.
Hoti allowed just one hit and walk, while striking out nine batters in 3.1 innings of relief for the Spartans on the team's North Carolina trip last week. The redshirt junior lefty also picked up a save in a 12-10 win over Georgian Court.

Jandel Brito, Staten Island
Sophomore | Catcher| Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Dolphins competed in one contest this weekend and it was against Chestnut Hill where the sophomore led the team with two RBI's while going 2-4 at the plate and a walk.

Jamel Vera, Staten Island
Senior | Outfielder | Staten Island, N.Y.
In the contest against Chestnut Hill, the senior finished going a perfect 3-3 at the plate while recording two of the five Dolphin runs in the non-conference contest. He also was able to swipe two bases.
