Player of the Week
Billy Morris, D’Youville

Morris had a great weekend at the plate for the Saints, finishing the weekend 9-for-18 (.500) with six runs scored and five RBI's, including a home run and a double across four games. Billy also pitched five innings in Friday's first contest with Mercy, striking out five and giving up eight hits. The highlight of the weekend came in game one of Saturday's doubleheader at Staten Island, where Morris racked up five hits and five RBI's with a double and a home run in the game. Morris' offense sparked the lineup and helped the Saints rally back to win from down ten runs in the 3rd.
Pitcher of the Week
JC Kiss, Molloy
Graduate Student | LHP | Hicksville, N.Y.
Kiss took the mound against Mercy Saturday afternoon and improved to 4-1 on the campaign in Molloy's 4-2 triumph. Kiss tossed seven innings allowing two runs on two hits while striking out a career-high seven. The lefty had a no-hitter through the opening four innings before surrendering a single in the fifth, but faced just one over the minimum in the first five frames.
Rookie of the Week
Dylan Ruland, Mercy
Freshman | Pitcher/First Base | Islip, N.Y.
Ruland pitched 1.1 scoreless innings of relief in two outings with one strikeout. The freshman pitched a scoreless inning of relief to earn his first career save in Mercy's game one win over STAC on Friday. Ruland also recorded one out in game two against Molloy on Saturday.

Mihir Manerikar, D'Youville
Junior | Pitcher | Mississauga, Ontario
Mihir Manerikar pitched critical relief innings for the Saints against Molloy on Friday, pitching 4 innings and allowing one earned run while earning the save in the 3-2 victory over the Lions. Manerikar led the bullpen and kept the Saints in control of the game, striking out two and pitching his way out of difficult situations.
Garett Wilson, D'Youville
Senior | Third Base/Designated Hitter | Webster, N.Y.
Garett Wilson put up a historic day for the Saints vs. Staten Island in game one on Saturday, going a perfect 5 for 5 from the plate, including two homeruns and two doubles with 10 RBI's in the Saints' 24-12 victory over the Dolphins. Wilson also crossed the plate 3 times on the day.
Anthony Altobelli, Mercy
Sophomore | Infielder | Kings Park, N.Y.
Altobelli hit a team-high .429 (6-for-14) with a team-high-tying three RBIs as Mercy went 2-2 during the week. The sophomore also scored one run and hit one double. Altobelli started the week going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in the first game win over STAC on Friday. He then went 2-for-4 with a walk-off RBI single in the second game win over STAC. Altobelli finished the week going 2-for-6 with a double in the doubleheader against Molloy on Saturday.
Nevin Scaperotti, Mercy
Junior | Pitcher | Stormville, N.Y.
Scaperotti pitched a seven-inning complete game, allowing just one run and four hits, with four strikeouts to earn the win in Mercy's 2-1 victory in game two over STAC on Friday. He also went 2-for-6 with an RBI at the plate against Molloy on Saturday.
Mike Knapp, Molloy
Redshirt Junior | Pitcher | Levittown, N.Y.
Knapp picked up the victory Sunday afternoon to improve to 3-1 on the season. The redshirt junior tossed a complete game allowing one run on five hits while striking out five.
Mike Sweeney, Molloy
Junior | Shortstop | Queens, N.Y.
Sweeney led the Lions’ lineup during a 3-1 week. The junior hit .615 (8-for-13), drove in four runs, and scored twice while getting on base at a .667 clip. The Queens native started the week with a three-hit, three-RBI performance in the Lions’ 9-6 victory over D'Youville, then finished the week with a four-hit game in Sunday's 3-1 win at Mercy.
Joshua Angely, Queens
Freshman | Infielder | Upland, Calif.
Rookie infielder Joshua Angely batted .429 on the week with a .500 on-base percentage and .714 slugging percentage, totaling three hits, one triple, one walk, and one run scored. Angely recorded his third career multi-hit game against STAC, going 2-for-4 with a triple and one run scored.
Vincent Mallon, Queens
Senior | Rightfielder | Massapequa, N.Y.
Senior right fielder Vincent Mallon hit .444 with a .444 on-base percentage and .556 slugging percentage, finishing the week with four hits, one double, two runs scored, and one RBI. Mallon notched his fourth multi-hit game of the season against Staten Island, going 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored.
Jason Romance, Staten Island
Freshman | First Baseman | Massapequa, N.Y.
In the week for the Dolphins, the rookie went .308 (4-13) at the plate, recording at least one hit through each game, and finished with three runs, a home run, and four RBI. Romance is also on an eight-game hit streak, recording at least one hit in each contest dating back to March 7th against Caldwell.
Vincent Weigele, Staten Island
Graduate | Infielder/Outfielder | Staten Island, N.Y.
In the three-game week for the Dolphins, the senior appeared in each to go .364 (4-11) at the plate with two runs, four RBI, and two home runs. In the doubleheader against D'Youville, Weigele recorded consecutive home runs with his first in game one and second following in game two.
Ryan Hillery, St. Thomas Aquinas
Redshirt Sophomore | Second Base | West Sayville, N.Y.
Hillery helped the Spartans with a .333 (5-for-15) batting average and spectacular all-around play. The STAC redshirt sophomore scored four runs, drove in two RBI, stroked three doubles, and was walked twice in four games against Pace, Mercy and Queens.
