Player of the Week
Sean Welsh, Molloy
Senior, 1B, East Meadow, NY
Welsh etched himself in the Molloy record books this week, helping the Lions to a 3-0 record. The senior became the program’s all-time home run leader (26), belting a two-run home run in the first inning against St. Thomas Aquinas. This was part of a three-hit, four-RBI day while also scoring twice. On the week, Welsh hit .500, slugged .900, drove in five, scored three times, doubled, and homered while getting on base at a .583 clip.

Scaperotti pitched 8.0 innings with no earned runs and four hits allowed to go with one strikeout to earn to win for Mercy over Staten Island on Friday.
Rookie of the Week
John Harkins, Queens
Freshman, CF, Babylon, NY
Rookie center fielder John Harkins batted .357 with a .412 OBP and .500 SLG, recording five hits, one triple, one RBI, and three runs scored. He notched two multi-hit games in Saturday’s sweep, including scoring the game-tying run in the 3-2 extra-inning victory.

Jakob Denall, D'Youville
Sophomore, RHP, Clarence, NY
Jakob Denall set a new season high in strikeouts with eight against Queens on Friday. The DYU sophomore tossed five full innings in the start, giving up only four hits and one earned, without allowing an extra base hit. Denall earned his second win of the season in the outing and secured DYU's lone win of the weekend.
Mihir Manerikar, D'Youville
Junior, RHP, Mississauga, Ontario
Manerikar gave up only four hits, and one earned while striking out three through 5.1 innings against Queens on Friday. Mihir faced 20 batters in his relief appearance, keeping the Saints in the contest by shutting down the Knights lineup, with the only run allowed coming on a solo homerun.
Zach Ashline, Mercy
Senior, OF, Colonie, NY
Ashline hit .533 (8-for-15) with four RBI, four stolen bases, three runs and one double as Mercy went 4-0 on the week. The senior opened the week going 4-for-8 with three RBI, three stolen bases, a double and a run in the sweep of Staten Island on Friday. The outfielder then went 4-for-7 with an RBI; a stolen base and two runs scored in the sweep of Staten Island on Saturday.
Dylan Koch, Mercy
Junior, SS/3B, Yorktown Heights, NY
Koch hit .500 (3-for-6) with three runs, two RBI, one double and one triple as Mercy went 4-0 on the week. The junior opened the week going 2-for-5 with two runs and a double in the sweep of Staten Island on Friday. Koch then went 1-for-1 with two RBI and a pinch-hit game-tying triple in game one, scoring the winning run to give Mercy the 8-7 walk-off win on Saturday.
Andre Jenkins, Mercy
Sophomore, P, Chester, NY
Jenkins pitched a seven-inning complete game with two runs allowed and three strikeouts to earn the win in Mercy's game two win over Staten Island on Friday. The sophomore also went 1-for-2 with a run in Mercy's game two win over Staten Island on Saturday.
Geneo Savoca, Mercy
Sophomore, P/2B, Albany, NY
Savoca hit .267 (4-for-15) with a home run, a double, three runs, two stolen bases and a team-high eight RBI on the week as Mercy went 4-0. The sophomore opened the week going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run in the game two win over Staten Island on Friday. Savoca then went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a double in the game one win over Staten Island on Saturday. The sophomore ended the week going 1-for-3 with a game-high four RBI to go with two runs and a home run in the game two win over Staten Island on Saturday. He hit a grand slam for his first career home run in the fifth inning that gave Mercy the lead for good.
Sean Mileti, Molloy
R-Senior, Pitcher, Oakdale, NY
Mileti had his stuff working in Wednesdays victory over Bridgeport. The lefty picked up the win tossing five scoreless innings allowing just three hits and facing just four over the minimum.
Charlie Imhof, Molloy
Junior, LF, Merrick, NY
Imhof excelled at the dish in Molloy's 3-0 week. The junior collected a pair of multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3-for-3 day on Wednesday against Bridgeport where he drove in two and scored twice while stealing two bases. On the week, Imhof hit .750, slugged 1.000, drove in three, stole three bases and got on base at a .833 clip.
Michael Vilardi, Queens
Junior, RHP, Massapequa, NY
Junior right-hander Mike Vilardi earned Queens’ second ECC win of the season, tossing 5.0 innings while allowing seven hits and four unearned runs. He walked two and struck out a season-high six in the 6-4 win over D’Youville.
Vincent Mallon, Queens
Senior, RF, Massapequa, NY
Across four games, senior right fielder Vincent Mallon led the team with a scorching .727 batting average, .813 OBP, and 1.000 SLG. He recorded a team-best eight hits, one home run, five walks, three RBI, and six runs scored. The Massapequa native extended his hitting streak to four games and posted three multi-hit performances, including a perfect 3-for-3 outing in the 14-1 game one victory.
Thomas McElwee, Queens
Junior, C, West Islip, NY
Junior catcher Thomas McElwee hit .500 with a .538 OBP and .750 SLG across four games, totaling six hits, one home run, and a team-high seven RBI. In Friday’s 6-4 win over D’Youville, he went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI. He followed that up Saturday with a 3-for-4 performance, adding another three RBI.
Jaden Waterman, Staten Island
Graduate, OF, Colonie, NY
In the previous week, Waterman went 7-18 (.388) at the plate. Against STAC on Tuesday, he went 2-5 at the plate with two home runs, four RBI and three runs and against Mercy on Saturday he went 2-4 with two runs, one double and three RBI.
