FULL BRACKET

Mercy has won all three match-ups over Molloy this season, with a 3-0 win on October 18, a 3-2 win on November 15, and, most recently, a 3-0 win in the 2025 ECC Women’s Volleyball Championship Final on November 22.

The Mercy women’s volleyball team has received the program’s eighth-ever bid into the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship. The Mavericks earn the No. 3 seed in the East Region by virtue of going 20-4 and earning the conference’s AQ by winning the 2025 ECC Women’s Volleyball Championship this past Saturday.

The Mavericks are making their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2023, Mercy won its first NCAA Tournament match since 2001, when the Mavs advanced to the National Quarterfinals.

Mercy is led by ECC Coach of the Year Ana Todorovic, unanimous ECC Player of the Year Gabriela Bieniek, unanimous ECC Setter of the Year Adriana Rivera Rodriguez, All-ECC First Team selection and the Most Outstanding Player of the ECC Championship Grace Dilena, and All-ECC Second Team selection Mia Illes-Hair.

For the first time since 2022, Molloy has qualified for the NCAA East Region Championship Tournament. The Lions, who went 18-9 on the season and finished as the ECC Championship Tournament runner-up this past Saturday,  earned the No. 6 seed on an at-large bid due to their strength of schedule and performance in the 2025 season.

Molloy is led by unanimous ECC Libero of the Year Aria Miller, All-ECC First Team selection Julia Zalta, All-ECC Second Team selections Ilaria Micol Chiericati, Isabella Rios, and Erin Stanley, and All-ECC Honorable Mention selection Haven Trechter.

The winner of the MER/MOL match-up will face the winner of Thursday’s No. 2 Adelphi/No. 7 Holy Family match-up in the NCAA Second Round on Friday, December 5. The other side of the bracket features No. 1 Bentley/No. 8 Bridgeport and No. 4 American International/No. 5 Post.
