Molloy Women’s Soccer’s Keenan Tabbed D2CCA Third Team All-American

COLONIA, NJ – ECC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year Madison Keenan added a final accolade to her outstanding sophomore campaign as the Molloy back was tabbed to the All-America Third Team by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

A D2CCA All-Region First Team and All-ECC First Team selection, Keenan started in all 19 contests for the Lions and finished tied for third on the team with 13 points, scoring four goals and handing out five assists. Throughout her 2024 campaign, Keenan collected 1,640 minutes of time on the pitch and was named one of three captains for the cardinal and white. The center back helped contribute to seven shutouts and was part of a back line that averaged 1.05 goals per contest to lead the ECC.

Sports Information Directors from the NCAA Division II schools and conference selected the three D2CCA All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all All-Region First Team picks advancing to the national ballot. The D2CCA encourages and promotes DII athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact DII intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA DII member colleges and universities.
