COLONIA, NJ – The 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom, and Molloy sophomore defender Madison Keenan has been tabbed to the First Team.
Keenan was ECC Defensive Player of the Year and holds a 3.93 GPA in speech pathology. The Molloy sophomore back totaled 13 points on four goals and five assists in 1,640 minutes, which included 16 full matches and seven clean sheets. The Molloy sophomore back played the full 90 minutes in all seven ECC wins this fall, anchoring a back line that conceded just three goals in conference play, and made a statement in the ECC Championship match against Daemen, dishing out two assists while playing the full 90 minutes in the Lions’ 4-1 victory.
Keenan was also recently named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-East Region First Team.
The Division II Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America program.
