Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Darwin Almonte, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, Haverstraw, NY
Almonte placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.97 and fifth in the 100 meter dash, crossing the finish line in 11.16 at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet. The Spartan freshman also helped his 4x100 (42.67) and 4x400 (3:52.34) meter relay teams to a pair of second place finishes.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Jason Ferguson, Molloy
Senior, Westbury, NY
Senior Jason Ferguson etched his name into the program record books with his performance in the long jump at the Ursinus Springfest this past Saturday (Apr. 4). Ferguson placed third in a field of 28 competitors with a top jump of 7.02 meters. In addition to the program record, Ferguson also set a personal best in the 200-meter, recording a time of 23.06.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Marie Naudus, Molloy
Graduate, Island Park, NY
Graduate student Marie Naudus was able to establish a program record for the second consecutive week this past Saturday at the Ursinus Springfest (Apr. 4). This time, Naudus set the record in the 800-meter with a time of 2:19.05, which was good for a second-place finish among 51 competitors. Naudus also shined in the 1500-meter, securing a second-place finish with a time of 4:42.90.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Jenna Capolupo, D'Youville University
Junior, Wheatfield, NY
Capolupo continues the strong start to the outdoor season for the Saints, having placed in the top-four in all four events competed in at the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational. In the long jump, Capolupo placed first with an AARTFC-qualifying mark of 5.40 meters. On the track, Capolupo placed second in the 200-meter dash (25.68), another qualifying time. She added a fourth-place finish in the 400 meters (59.02), narrowly missing a third qualifying mark. Capolupo was also apart of the 4x100m relay that placed fourth with a time of 49.82, hitting the AARTFC qualifying standard.

Women's
Patsy Oberholzer, Daemen
Senior, Greece, NY
Oberholzer won the 5000m run with a personal-best time of 18:46.40. The senior finished 32 seconds ahead of the next runner.
Kayla Cooper, District of Columbia
Senior, Brooklyn, NY
Cooper headlined the field events for UDC with a record-breaking performance in the long jump, posting a mark of 5.99m (19-8.00) to win the event (out of field of 14 other competitors) at the Norfolk State Invitational. The jump not only set a new UDC school record, surpassing the previous mark set in 2014, but also hit a national provisional qualifying standard. Cooper’s mark currently ranks among the top 10 in NCAA Division II, making her one of the top long jumpers in the country early in the outdoor season.
Samantha Morrison, District of Columbia
Senior, St. Catherine, Jamaica
Morrison turned in a strong performance for the Firebirds at the Norfolk State Invitational. The senior posted a personal-best time of 2:13.30 in the 800m, placing 5th/14. This is also an ECC leading time. Morrison also contributed to UDC’s first-place 4x400m relay team (3:56.25), helping secure another ECC leading time for the Firebirds.
Tukey Francis, District of Columbia
Senior, St Ann, Jamaica
Francis delivered a strong showing for the Firebirds at the Norfolk State Invitational, highlighted by her performance in the 200m, where she posted an ECC leading time of 25.44s, placing 16th/30. Francis capped off her weekend as a member of the first-place 4x400m relay team (3:56.25), helping the Firebirds secure the top relay time in the conference.
Lily Schulz, D'Youville University
Junior, Lockport, NY
Competing in the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational, Schulz turned in a first-place performance in the 10,000-meter race, finishing with a time of 40:47.48.
Ava Shepherd, Molloy
Sophomore, West Hempstead, NY
Sophomore Ava Shepherd shined in her performance at the Ursinus Springfest this past Saturday (Apr. 4). Shepherd secured a third-place finish in the high jump in a field of nine competitors with a mark of 1.45 meters. She also recorded a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 10.10 meters.
Carli Scheiffele, Molloy
Sophomore, Mount Sinai, NY
Sophomore Carli Scheiffele broke her own program record this past Saturday at the Ursinus Springfest (Apr. 4). Scheiffele, who previously held the program record in the steeplechase, improved upon her mark with a time of 11:39.36, shaving over two seconds off her previous record. The record-breaking effort was enough to secure a fourth-place finish in a field of six competitors.
Sophia Hines, Molloy
Sophomore, Merrick, NY
Sophomore Sophia Hines had herself an outstanding day at the Ursinus Springfest this past Saturday (Apr. 4). Hines ran to a second-place finish in the 100-meter finals with a time of 12.50 in a field of eight competitors.
Victoria Maher, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore, Marlboro, NY
Maher placed second in the discus with a throw of 40.20m and third in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.66m at the East Stroudsburg All-American Meet.

Mark Siebenhuener, Molloy
Junior, Plainview, NY
Junior Mark Siebenhuener ran to a personal-best time in the 200-meter this past Saturday at the Ursinus Springfest (Apr. 4). With a time of 22.12, Siebenhuener claimed a third-place finish among 82 competitors.
Jurrel Hall, Molloy
Junior, West Hempstead, NY
Junior Jurrel Hall bested a program record that had stood for over a decade at the Ursinus Springfest this past Saturday (Apr. 4). Hall established a new program mark in the high jump, recording a top jump of 1.90 meters and finishing sixth among 17 competitors. Hall's success did not end there, as he also earned a third-place finish in the triple jump with a top mark of 13.89 meters.
Quinten John, Molloy
Sophomore, North Babylon, NY
Sophomore Quinten John ran to a fourth-place finish this past Saturday at the Ursinus Springfest (Apr. 4). John finished fourth in the 200-meter with a personal-best time of 22.15 in a field of 82 competitors.
Jordan Bryner, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore, Richmond, KY
Sophomore Jordan Bryner eclipsed the 17-foot bar and became just the second vaulter in school history to reach the height as he won the Geneseo Invitational with a final height of 5.20 meters. The mark ranks seventh nationally and is the top result in the East Region so far this season. . Bryner entered the competition at 15' 3" and cleared five bars for the new PR and winning vault.
Jackson Doran, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate, Lockport, NY
Graduate Student Jackson Doran started the outdoor season with a first-place finish in the 800-meter race as he sprinted to a time of 1:53.51. The time ranks No. 2 in the current East Region standings and is the top ECC time by more than five seconds in the latest standings.
Jude Petersen, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, Hershey, PA
Petersen placed sixth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.36 and ninth in the 110 meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 16.67 at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet.
Chauncey Lapointe, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, Stony Point, NY
Lapointe placed fourth in the discus event with a throw of 41.70m at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet.
