Offensive Player of the Week

Noah Hammon, Molloy
R-Sr., Attack, Rome, NY

Hammon led the #15 Lions with nine points on the week, scoring seven goals and adding two assists. The redshirt senior scored a season-high five goals on Saturday at D'Youville to help keep Molloy undefeated in East Coast Conference play.


Defensive Player of the Week

Thomas Kofod, Molloy
Senior, LS MF, Seaford, NY

For the second-straight week, Kofod was all over the place on the defensive side of the field for the #15 Lions. Kofod had five or more ground balls and three or more caused turnovers in both games of a 2-0 week for Molloy. The senior became the program's career record holder in caused turnovers (112) this week and added an assist.


Goalie of the Week

John Basile, Molloy
Senior, G, West Islip, NY

Basile went 2-0 on the week, putting up a GAA of just 4.42 with a save percentage of .636. His performance on the week, including making 10 stops at D'Youville, helped to keep the #15 Lions undefeated in league play.


Rookie of the Week

Myles Henry, District of Columbia
Freshman, MD, Flintridge, California

In the Firebirds’ matchup against Virginia State, Henry lead all scorers with a game-high five goals. The freshman accounted for over half of UDC’s offensive output, scoring in multiple quarters and helping the Firebirds build an early lead. Henry also added two ground balls while consistently creating scoring opportunities, finishing with 12 shots and eight on goal.


ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Logan Schwartz, D'Youville
Senior, Defense, Depew, NY

Facing the No. 15 team in the country in Molloy University, Schwartz caused disruption in what the Lions wanted to do offensively, causing three turnovers while grabbing four groundballs.
 
Kelvin Pham, District of Columbia
Freshman, Face-Off, Beltsville, Maryland  

Pham delivered a dominant performance at the faceoff X in the Firebirds’ matchup against Virginia State, controlling possession throughout the contest. The freshman went 17-for-23 (74%) on faceoffs, consistently giving UDC extra offensive opportunities. He also led the team with eight ground balls.
 
Ryder Walter, Frostburg State
Junior, Defense, Baltimore, Md.

Walter drove FSU's defensive effort in a 14-9 win over St. Thomas Aquinas causing four turnovers and picking up seven groundballs. His 7 GB's set a new career-high, as he also scored a goal in the victory, his second-ever for the program.
 
Trey Weinstein, Mercy
Sophomore, MF, Kitchener, Ontario

Weinstein had a game-high three caused turnovers with three ground balls, a goal and an assist in Mercy's 10-7 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
Cameron Dorfman, Mercy
Junior, GK, West Islip, NY

Dorfman made nine saves with just seven goals allowed to go with four ground balls in Mercy's 10-7 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
Cole Hunsberger, Mercy
Sophomore, Attack, Waterloo, Ontario

Hunsberger had a team-high four points on three goals and an assist to go with one ground ball in Mercy's 10-7 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.

Bergersen had a team-high-tying three goals with four ground balls in Mercy's 10-7 win at
Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
Michael Mitrano, Mercy

Mitrano went 11-of-18 on faceoffs with five ground balls in Mercy's 10-7 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
Dean Kott, Mercy

Kott had a goal and a game-high two assists to go with one ground ball in Mercy's 10-7 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
Jaden Simick, Molloy
Freshman, Attack, Milton, Ontario, Canada               

Simick tallied six points on the the week on five goals and an assist to go with four ground balls. The freshman netted a career-high four goals against Post and added an assist, leading all scorers with five points.
 
Chase Wilson, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore, Attack, Hilton, NY

Sophomore Chase Wilson led Roberts with a game-high five goals and added an assist in a home loss to Mercy over the weekend. He added a caused turnover and five groundballs.
 
Landon Brimmer, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore, G, Shaftsbury, VT

Sophomore goalie Landon Brimmer recorded a game-high 12 saves and was tied for the team lead with seven ground balls in the lone game of the week for the Redhawks.
 
Austin Palen, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, Face-Off, Walkill, NY

Palen dominated the faceoff x, going 23-of-24 (95.8% success rate) in matches against Dominican and Frostburg State last week. The senior FOGO also collected 16 total ground balls over those same two contests.
