Offensive Player of the Week

Noah Hammon, Molloy
Senior | Attack | Rome, N.Y.
Hammon topped #15 Molloy with nine points on the week. The redshirt senior had a standout performance in conference play, putting up seven points on four goals and three assists to go with three ground balls and a caused turnover in a win over RV Frostburg State. The attacker added two more goals to go with a goal and caused turnover earlier in the week against Georgian Court.


Defensive Player of the Week

Brandon Pazienza, Molloy
Senior | Faceoff | Holtsville, N.Y.
Pazienza was dominant at the face-off dot in both of #15 Molloy's win this week. The senior averaged .833, winning 35 of his 42 face-offs while picking up 28 ground balls. Against Georgian Court, Pazienza lost just two face-offs all afternoon, picking up 14 ground balls and becoming the program's all-time face-off leader at 612. He then added another 16 wins and 14 ground balls to go with his first goal of the season against RV Frostburg State in league play.


Goalie of the Week

John Basile, Molloy
Senior | Goalkeeper | West Islip, N.Y.
Basile put up a 7.00 goals-against average in a 2-0 week for the #15 Lions. The senior set a career-high 18 saves in a win in league play over RV Frostburg State. The senior picked up a pair of ground balls in each contest on the week.


Rookie of the Week

Raymond Cortes, D’Youville
Redshirt-Freshman | Attack | Iriving, N.Y.
Cortes had a solid all-around game for the Saints this past week, accounting for four points (2 goals, 2 assists) while also grabbing five groundballs and causing one turnovers in the team's 19-13 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College.


ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Hayden Goldthorp, D’Youville
Senior | Defender | Oro-Medonte, Ontario

Goldthorp made significant contributions on the defensive end for the Saints, causing four turnovers while grabbing four groundballs in the team's 19-13 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College. Goldthorp caused a key turnover late into the fourth quarter which led directly to a score for D'Youville to make the game 18-12 with just over two minutes remaining in the game.

Luciano Gonzalez, D’Youville
Redshirt-Junior | Midfielder | Conquitlam, British Columbia

Gonzalez was instrumental in the Saints' 19-13 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College this past weekend, contributing to seven points (3 goals, 4 assists). Gonzalez made the most of his shots on goal, converting on three of the fours shots.

Myles Henry, District of Columbia
Freshman | Midfielder |
 La Cañada Flintridge, California
In a 1- 1 week for the Firebirds, Henry posted 8 points on 4 goals and 4 assists. In UDC’s win over Caldwell, Henry recorded a 6-point performance (2 goals, 4 assists) to lead the offense. He followed with 2 goals in conference play against Mercy. In addition to his offensive production, Henry contributed 6 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the field.

Adam Zima, District of Columbia
Freshman | Midfielder | Lago, Florida

Zima recorded a game-high 5 goals while posting a perfect 8-for-8 shots on goal, to lead the Firebirds to a 14-7 victory over Caldwell. Zima also contributed 3 ground balls and a caused turnover, impacting the game beyond the offensive end.

Keegan Green, Frostburg State
Freshman | Attack | Chester, Md.

Green helped FSU to a 1-1 week, scoring 4 total goals across the two games. In the team's 7-6 victory over Wilmington (Del.), he scored the game-tying goal in the 4th quarter while being a man down. He followed with a career-best 3 goals in the 11-7 loss to Molloy, while also causing a turnover and picking up two groundballs.

Ryder Walter, Frostburg State
Junior | Defender | Baltimore, Maryland

Walter drove FSU's defensive effort in their 1-1 week, causing 8 turnovers and picking up 9 groundballs. He set a career-high with 5 groundballs in the team's 7-6 victory over Wilmington (Del.) while also causing 3 turnovers, then followed up with another personal best of 5 CT's against Molloy, picking up 4 GB's in the process.

Sean Higgins, Mercy
Senior | Defender | Macungie, Pa.

Higgins had a team-high five caused turnovers with two ground balls as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with a game-high four caused turnovers to go with one ground ball against #4 Saint Anselm on Wednesday. Higgins ended the week with a caused turnover and a ground ball in the win over UDC on Sunday.

Cole Hunsberger, Mercy
Sophomore | Attack | Waterloo, Ontario

Hunsberger had a team-high eight points on a team-high four goals and four assists to go with two ground balls as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The sophomore opened the week with a team-high three points on a goal and two assists against #4 Saint Anselm on Wednesday. Hunsberger ended the week with a game-high five points on three goals and two assists to go with two ground balls in the win over UDC on Sunday.

Lou Takacs, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Midfielder | Sparta, N.J.

Takacs tallied a hat trick on six total shots (five on goal) in STAC's 19-13 loss to D'Youville this past weekend.

Ethan Urbanski, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior | Defender | Huntsville, Ontario Canada

Urbanski's strong defensive play helped the Spartans power their way back into this past weekend's match against D'Youville. The junior defenseman scooped up two ground balls and sent several Saints players to the seats of their pants.
