Defensive Player of the Week

Hailey Galison, St. Thomas Aquinas
Graduate Student | Defender | Wantagh, N.Y.
Galison scooped up a game-high 13 ground balls and caused a game-high five turnovers to go with four draw controls in the Spartans’ 21-3 win over UDC last week. The graduate student defender added four goals and two assists in an outstanding two-way effort for STAC.

Bustamante scooped a team-high five ground balls and forced two turnovers in Molloy’s 17-7 win over Daemen while adding a goal and an assist on the offensive end.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Dana Bacher, Daemen
Senior | Midfielder | Hamburg, N.Y.
Bacher totaled eight points on six goals and two assists to go with four ground balls and three draw controls in a 1-1 week. The senior midfielder netted five goals and added two assists in a 20-1 win over Malone and netted one goal in a 17-7 loss to Molloy.

Ella Bouley, Daemen
Sophomore | Midfielder | Auburn, N.Y.
Bouley totaled five goals, two assists, four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and nine draw controls in a 1-1 week. The Daemen sophomore contributed four points on three goals and an assist to go with three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls in a 20-1 win over Malone before adding three points on two goals and a helper with five draw controls in a 17-7 loss at Molloy.

Olivia Cerbo, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Midfielder | Middletown, N.J.
Cerbo recorded five goals in STAC's 21-3 win over UDC last week. The senior midfielder also gathered two ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Katelyn Cerrato, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Midfielder | Mohegan Lake, N.Y.
Cerrato tallied three goals and four assists in the Spartans’ 21-3 win over UDC last week. The junior midfielder also scooped up three ground balls and won seven draw controls.

Ella Entress, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Attacker | Patchogue, N.Y.
Entress scored five goals and added an assist in the Spartans’ 21-3 victory over UDC last week. The sophomore attack also scooped up four ground balls.

Andrea Mott, Mercy
Sophomore | Attacker | Miller Place, N.Y.
Mott had a team-high seven points on four goals and a team-high three assists to go with two ground balls in two games. The sophomore opened the week with three goals, two assists, and two ground balls in Mercy's 12-11 double-overtime loss to defending National Champion No. 1 Pace on Wednesday. Mott ended the week with a goal and an assist at No. 3 Adelphi on Saturday. 

Sofia Quitoni, Molloy
Junior | Midfielder | Wantagh, N.Y.
Quitoni had a career-high five goals against Daemen in a 17-7 win for the Lions. The junior added an assist for six points, two ground balls, two draw controls, and one caused turnover.

Madelyn Robinson, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Defender | Lancaster, N.Y.
Robinson led the Redhawks' defense that only allowed one goal in the second half in an 18-7 win over D'Youville on Saturday. Robinson caused four turnovers and had two ground balls and two draw controls. 

Lindsey Shimborske, Mercy
Junior | Defender | Farmingdale, N.Y.
Shimborske had a team-high nine caused turnovers and eight draw controls with three ground balls in two games. The junior opened the week with a game-high six caused turnovers with four draw controls and two ground balls in Mercy's 12-11 double-overtime loss to defending National Champion No. 1 Pace on Wednesday. Shimborske ended the week with three caused turnovers, four draw controls, and one ground ball at No. 3 Adelphi on Saturday.
