WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced its 2024 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference honorees and major award winners on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the 2024 ECC Men’s Lacrosse Championship, set to begin with semifinals action on Wednesday. On the other end of the field, Gerdvil and Dorfman anchored a Mercy defense that held its regular-season opponents to just 9.31 goals scored per game, which ranked 13th in all of Division II this spring.

A three-time ECC Defensive Player of Week this season, Gerdvil caused 29 turnovers this year, good for second in the ECC and 20th in all of Division II with a mark of 2.23 per game. Gerdvil also ranked 10th in the conference, and second among ECC close defensemen, with 3.46 ground balls per game (45 total). In his second year at the helm, MacSpadyen once again led the Mavericks to a perfect 6-0 record in ECC play, guiding Mercy to its fifth straight ECC regular-season title.
