Offensive Player of the Week
Jacob Darwesh Lund-Iversen (Mercy)
Sr., F, Oslo, Norway, Maryville University
Lund-Iversen had a team-high five goals and 10 points on the week as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The senior scored all five of Mercy's goals on the week, recording a hat trick on four shots in Mercy's 3-2 win over West Chester on Wednesday. The forward then scored both goals on four shots in the Mavericks' 2-1 win at Southern Connecticut State on Sunday. Lund-Iversen currently has an ECC-best eight goals and 17 points on the year.
Defensive Player of the Week
Anton Mand (Queens)
Gr., D, Muenster, Germany, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium
Graduate defender Anton Mand helped No. 7 Queens post two victories against two regionally ranked foes. On Wednesday evening, Mand helped Queens shut out No. 6 Bridgeport as the Knights held the Purple Knights to seven shots and just one shot on goal in a 4-0 victory. Against No. 10 Georgian Court, Mand helped Queens earn a 3-1 victory as the Lions were held to seven shots on goal Saturday night.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Matthew Solorio (D'Youville)
Jr., GK, Kansas City, Mo., Oak Park
Solorio had an outstanding performance in goal for the Saints this week, recording two shutout wins as D'Youville went 2-0. Solorio has now recorded four shutouts in six games played with a save percentage of 0.682. The Junior recorded one save in the Saints 1-0 win against California University of Pennsylvania and three saves at home in D'Youville's 2-0 win over the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Ewan Brodie (D'Youville)

Brodie netted the game winner for his first career goal on Saturday against University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown at home.

Keithland Cesar (Queens)
Sr., F, Brooklyn, NY, Kingsborough Community College/Sunset High School
Matching up against two regionally ranked foes, senior Keithlend Cesar led the way with a seven-point week, recording three goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for No. 7 Queens. Cesar opened the week with a career-best five points, recording his first career brace to go along with one assist as Queens defeated No. 6 Bridgeport Wednesday evening. Against No. 10 Georgian Court, Cesar recorded his third goal of the week as Queens defeated the Lions, 3-1, Saturday night.
Quinton Ejechi (District of Columbia)
Sr., D, London, England, St Mary’s Magdalene Academy
Ejechi was a key presence on the UDC back line, helping anchor a defense that recorded two shutouts to go 2-0 during the week. His defensive work, positioning, and ability to help keep opposing attacks under control played an important role in the Firebirds’ success. With Ejechi in the starting line up the Firebirds have now posted four shutouts in five games.
Ethan Robinson (D'Youville)
Sr., F, Scarborough, Ontario, Neil McNeil
Robinson powered the Saints offense this week recording two goals in two games. Robinson recorded the game winner against California University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday before scoring the go-ahead against the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown to give D'Youville the 2-0 victory. The Junior recorded four points on the week with six shots on goal.
Stian Haugland (Queens)

Sophomore goalkeeper Stian Haugland helped No. 7 Queens post two victories against two regionally ranked foes. On Wednesday evening, Haugland and his backline earned a 4-0 shutout victory over No. 6 Bridgeport as the Purple Knights were held to one shot on goal. Against No. 10 Georgian Court Saturday night, Haugland recorded four saves in a tightly contested 3-1 victory in which both teams combined for 15 shots on goal.
Lorenzo Herrera (District of Columbia)
Fr., GK, Alexandria, Virginia, Hayfield Secondary School
The rookie goalkeeper posted his third shutout in four games, after making a career and season high 10 saves to lead the Firebirds to a 1-0 victory over Jefferson.
John Hollis (Mercy)
Sr., M, Bradford, England, West Virginia Wesleyan College
Hollis had a game-high and career-high three assists in Mercy's 3-2 win over West Chester on Wednesday. The senior recorded an assist on each of the Mavericks' goals in the win. Hollis now leads the ECC with four assists.
Andrew Johnson (Queens)
Sr., M, Oakdale, N.Y., Connetquot High School
Matching up against two regionally ranked foes, senior Andrew Johnson recorded a five-point week with two goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for No. 7 Queens. Johnson opened the week with an assist in the Knights’ victory over No. 6 Bridgeport Wednesday evening. Against No. 10 Georgian Court, Johnson recorded his first brace of the year to go along with his first game-winning goal as Queens defeated the Lions, 3-1, Saturday night.
Archie Murphy (Roberts Wesleyan)
Sr., F, Bourne End, England, BCA College
Senior Archie Murphy helped the Redhawks complete an unbeaten week as he scored a pair of goals and notched an assist in a 3-3 tie with Goldey-Beacom over the weekend. He is currently tied for third in the conference standings in both goals and points.
Yamah Nawabi (District of Columbia)
So., F, Sterling, VA, Potomac Falls High School
Nawabi came off the bench to assist two game winning goals, to help lead the Firebirds to a 2-0 week.

Founded as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1989 and rechristened the East Coast Conference in July 2006, the ECC was formed to enhance intercollegiate athletic competition among member institutions and to assist them in integrating athletics into their academic program in a fiscally sound way. The ECC is committed to the highest standards of scholarship, sportsmanship, teamwork, and citizenship. Its mission is to promote the total person concept in its student-athletes, which stresses the abilities to excel in academic achievement, athletic competition, and positive character traits. East Coast Conference members include: Daemen University (Amherst, N.Y.); University of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.); D'Youville University (Buffalo, N.Y.); Mercy University (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.); Molloy University (Rockville Centre, N.Y.); Queens College (Flushing, N.Y.); Roberts Wesleyan University (Rochester, N.Y.); College of Staten Island (Staten Island, N.Y.); and St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkill, N.Y.). The ECC also is home to 13 associate members in the sports of women’s bowling (3), men’s and women’s indoor track & field (3), men's volleyball (2), field hockey (1), and men’s lacrosse (1).
The ECC sponsors the following championship sports: baseball; men’s and women’s basketball; women's bowling; men’s and women’s cross country; field hockey; men’s and women’s lacrosse; men’s and women’s indoor track and field; men’s and women’s outdoor track and field; men’s and women’s soccer; softball; and men's and women’s volleyball.
The East Coast Conference is a proud member of the NCAA and Division II. Division II is a dynamic and engaging group of colleges, institutions and conferences of varying sizes and educational missions. Division II members encourage and support diversity; value sportsmanship, fairness and equity; and place the highest priority on the overall educational excellence of the student-athlete.
