COLONIA, NJ – The East Coast Conference (ECC) has announced its 2026 Women’s Tennis All-Conference selections and major award winners ahead of this weekend’s ECC Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Queens College’s
Lilie Bizouerne (La Ciotat, France) has been named
Player of the Year, while teammate
Ela Vasic (Novi Sad, Serbia) earned
Rookie of the Year honors. Queens head coach
Alan Nagel was recognized as
Coach of the Year.
Bizouerne posted an impressive 20-3 overall singles record, including a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play. She went 5-0 at second singles and 2-0 at third singles in ECC competition. In doubles, she compiled a 17-6 overall record and went 6-1 in league play. Bizouerne also captured the ITA Singles Championship and is currently ranked No. 54 nationally in singles, with a season-high ranking of No. 18. She holds the No. 1 singles ranking in the East and No. 2 in doubles. Additionally, she remains undefeated in Division II play and owns a notable win over Polina Zaytseva of the University of Findlay, whose team is ranked eighth nationally.
Vasic has emerged as one of the top freshmen in the country, going undefeated in Division II singles dual matches. She also secured two victories against Division I opponents. Vasic finished the season with a 14-3 singles record and a 16-2 doubles mark. In ECC play, she went 5-0 in singles and 6-0 at first doubles. She is currently ranked No. 21 nationally in doubles and No. 3 in the East alongside All-Conference First Team selection

Joining Bizouerne, Vasic, and Bertran on the All-Conference First Team is Queens teammate
Sixtine Goubet (Lyon, France).
Kateryna Kryuchkova (Kyiv, Ukraine) of St. Thomas Aquinas and
Polina Zelentsova (Chaiky, Ukraine) of the University of the District of Columbia round out the First Team.
The Second Team features three student-athletes from D’Youville:
Nele Herbst (Austria), Erika Ismailova (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), and
Mina Randjelovic (Paracin, Serbia). Also earning Second Team honors are
Celia Bastin (Dinant, Belgium) of UDC,
Mar Caneves Bufi (Mallorca, Spain) of St. Thomas Aquinas, and
Johanne Genestay (Dinan, France) of Queens.
The ECC Women’s Tennis Championship begins Friday at 9 p.m., with No. 1 Queens facing No. 4 St. Thomas Aquinas and No. 2 D’Youville taking on No. 3 District of Columbia. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. All matches will be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
