HACKENSACK, N.J. – Bryant, Kutztown, and Molloy have advanced to the final day of the 2026 East Coast Conference Women’s Bowling Championship after Day Two Competition on Saturday.
Using the Megamatch Format, which is a Best-of-3 format featuring a traditional 5-person game, Baker Total Pinfall and Best-of-7 Baker, Bryant advanced with a 2-0 win over fourth-seeded Adelphi in Round 1, Match 1, and then defeated third-
seeded Molloy in Match 2, Match 4.
In Round 1, Match 2, Molloy – who is seeded third- defeated second-seeded Kutztown, 3-1.
In Round 2, Match 3, Kutztown eliminated fourth-seed Adelphi, 2-1.
Round 3, Match 5 will take place at 8:25 a.m. on Sunday featuring Molloy and Kutztown, with the winner facing Bryant.
Round 1, Match 1 – Bryant 2, Adelphi 0
Bryant took the traditional 5-person game by a score of 987-904 over Adelphi to start the match.
For the Bulldogs, Olivia Hillman bowled a match-high 235, while Laura Clark added a 192. Madison Lewis had a 190, followed by Madison Damer with a 189 and Hayden Smith with a 181.
For Adelphi, Marissa Funk had a team-high 200, with Carly Wu going for 192. Giana Giampapa had a 191, with Tiffany Wong getting a 177 and Erica DeJesus adding a 144.
In the Baker, Bryant won with a 1016-915. Bryant won the games by scores of 233-192, 202-190, 168-159, 256-210, with Adelphi winning game five with a 164 to Bryant’s 157.
Round 1, Match 2 – Molloy 2, Kutztown 1
Molloy took the traditional 5-person game 1011-982. Kaitlyn Warren threw a 245 for Molloy, with Michaela Palumbo tossing a 221. Emily Kulkarni had a 204, Samantha Felice had a 200, and Ilana Kaplan had a 141.
For Kutztown, Kamryn Brememan had a 236, with Isabella Hopper bowling a 226. Sydney Snyder had a 181, Shelby Wunch had a 171, and Madilyn Bogovich had a 168.
In the Baker, Kutztown won with a 1075-979. The Golden Bears won with scores of 230-189, 210-178, 210-203, 234-232, and 191-177, to force the Best-of-7.
In that match, Molloy won 4.5-1.5. Molloy and Kutztown tied the first game at 203, with the Lions winning game two 201-180 and game three 226-203. In game four, Kutztown won 232-200, with Molloy winning game five 195-178 and game six 238-161.
Round 2, Match 3 – Kutztown 2, Adelphi 1
Adelphi started off by winning the Traditional 5-person game, 1005-907.
Giampapa bowled a team-high 259, followed by Wong with a 204. Wu had a 193, with DeJesus getting a 179. Funk bowled a 170.
For Kutztown, Bogovich had a 230, Wunch had a 181, Isabella Hopper had a 179. Snyder had a 169, followed by Brememan with a 148.
In the Baker, Kutztown won 1013-947. Adelphi took game 1, 187-169, with Kutztown winning game 2 (212-160), game 3 (199-192), and game 4 (242-210). Adelphi took game five 208-191.
Forcing the Best of 7, Kutztown won 4-2. KU won game 1, 209-195, game 2, 209-193, game 3, 223-196, while Adelphi won game 4, 195-188, and game 5, 234-227, while Kutztown won game 6, 217-214.
Round 2, Match 4 – Bryant 2, Molloy 0
Bryant won the opening Traditional 5-person game, 984-893. Lewis had a 232, with Damer getting a 198. Hayden Smith had a 195, followed by Hillman with a 186. Clark finished with a 173.
For Molloy, Warren had a 222, with Felice getting a 188. Kulkarni had a 182, Kaplan had a 156, and Palumbo got a 145.
Bryant then won the Best-of-7 by a slim 916-909 score. Bryant took the first two games, 215-175 and 193-172. Molloy won games 3 and 4 by 208-173 and 193-157. Bryant took the fifth and deciding game 178-161.
