Player of the Week
Starrell Hearns, St. Thomas Aquinas
Redshirt Junior | Guard | Carteret, N.J.
Hearns averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in two contests last week for STAC. The redshirt junior guard tallied 14 points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out three assists and swiped two steals in 25 minutes in an 83-75 road win against Molloy before recording 29 points, 10 rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block in 33 minutes in a 94-85 home victory against Queens. Starrell shot 44.1 percent (15-34) from the field, 53.3 percent (8-15) from beyond the arc and 100.0 percent (5-5) from the charity stripe.
Defensive Player of the Week
Tahj-Malik Campbell, Queens
Senior | Forward | Philadelphia, Pa.
In a 1-1 week for the Knights, senior forward Tahj-Malik Campbell led the way, averaging 21.5 points, 17.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game while recording two double-doubles. In the victory over Mercy, Campbell posted his 10th double-double of the season with 17 points, 25 rebounds, five blocks (a career best), five assists, and one steal. His 25 rebounds marked the second-highest total in program history and the most since the 1976-77 season, while also ranking as the second-most rebounds in Division II this season. On Sunday against STAC, Campbell recorded his team-best and ECC-leading 11th double-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. The 26-point performance marked his 11th game this season with 20 or more points.
Rookie of the Week
Henri Mennander, Queens
Freshman | Forward | Helsinki, Finland
Rookie forward Henri Mennander averaged a double-double on the week, posting 16.5 points on 54.5 percent shooting along with 11.0 rebounds per game. Mennander opened the week with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and one assist in the win over Mercy. On Sunday against STAC, he added 15 points, 10 rebounds, one block, and one steal to register his ninth double-double of the season.

Justin Hemphill, Daemen
Redshirt Senior | Guard | Buffalo, N.Y.
Hemphill led the Wildcats defensively in their 90-67 win over D'Youville, posting a team-high eight rebounds -- four O-boards -- and doled out a team-high six assists along with a block and a steal. The redshirt senior also shot 62 percent from the field after banking 5-of-8 and one triple for 11 points.
Zach Philipkoski, Daemen
Junior | Guard | New Hartford, N.Y.
Philipkoski tied a season-high with 28 points after knocking down 9 field goals, including four from beyond the arc. The junior guard added seven rebounds, two blocks, three steals and two assists in Daemen's 90-67 win over D'Youville on Sunday.
Oilver Spence, District of Columbia
Freshman | Center | Slovakia, Europe
Spence led all scorers in the Firebirds lone match up against Roberts Wesleyan. He posted a game-high 20 points, going 9-16 from the field while also adding a game-high 8 rebounds and one block.
TJ Holloway, Mercy
Senior | Guard | Stratford, Conn.
Holloway averaged a team-high 18.5 points per game to go with 6.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game in two games this week. The senior opened the week with 18 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal at Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with 19 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal against Molloy on Sunday.
Kohen Rowbatham, Mercy
Sophomore | Guard | Slidell, La.
Rowbatham averaged 14.0 points, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game in two games. The sophomore opened the week with eight points, one block and one steal at Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 20 points to go with two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal against Molloy on Sunday.
Jared Weakly, Molloy
Junior | Forward | Valley Stream, N.Y.
Weakly continued to anchor the Molloy defense, leading the squad with 19 rebounds (16 defensive) and five blocks. The junior collected 16 points and nine rebounds against St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday, before putting up an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double at Mercy on Sunday while recording four blocks. On the week, Weakly averaged 13.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game.
Bryce Merchant, Molloy

Merchant became the 23rd player in program history to eclipse 1000 career points In Sunday's victory over Mercy. The junior totaled 24 points on 69 percent shooting from the floor. On the week, Merchant averaged 16.5 points and seven rebounds a game while shooting 50 percent from the floor.
Collin Woods, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | Guard/Forward | Carpentersville, Ill.
Junior Collin Woods led the Roberts offense in the two games last week as the Redhawks remained in the playoff picture in sixth place with two games to play. He finished the week with 29 points on 11-of-24 shooting (.458) from the field and 5-of-11 (.455) from 3-point range. He added 18 rebounds and nine assists. Against Staten Island, he recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Aaron Goldstein, Staten Island
Junior | Guard | Staten Island, N.Y.
Led all Dolphin scorers against Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday with 26 points while shooting 50% (9-18) from the field. He drilled five three pointers throughout the contest and notched one steal and three assists.
JJ Chestnut, Staten Island
Senior | Guard | Watervliet, N.Y
Finished second on the team with 15 points against Roberts on Sunday. He led the team with eight assists while also collecting two steals.
Jordan Green, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Center | Hagerstown, Md.
Green averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game in two contests last week for STAC. The senior center tallied 21 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out an assist in 28 minutes in an 83-75 road win against Molloy before recording another 21 points, with 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 33 minutes in a 94-85 home victory against Queens. Jordan shot 78.3 percent (18-23) from the field.
