Daemen Men's Basketball to host NCAA East Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The road to Indianapolis and the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship will run through Amherst, N.Y., as Daemen University was selected as the host and number one seed for the East Region on Sunday night.

The bracket was released, and the Wildcats, who went undefeated in ECC play during the regular season and won their second straight conference title, will host the eight-team regional this upcoming week.

Daemen will take on eighth-seed Goldey-Beacom in the first round. Other teams that were selected include second-seed Felician, third-seed Saint Anselm, fourth-seed Bentley, fifth-seed Saint Michael’s, sixth-seed Assumption, and seventh-seed Adelphi.

Game times will be announced on Monday.
