COLONIA, N.J. – The stage is set for another action-packed season of ECC Esports, as teams from across the conference gear up to battle for championships in some of the most popular titles in competitive gaming. In partnership with the Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) and EsportsU, the ECC will once again feature competition in Overwatch 2, Valorant, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (1v1 and 3v3), and League of Legends.
This fall brings a mix of new challengers and familiar rivals as programs including D’Youville, Daemen, Molloy, Roberts Wesleyan, Staten Island, Anna Maria, Concord, New Haven, NYIT, Southern Maine, Southern New Hampshire, St. Joseph’s (N.Y.), and Utica
prepare to clash for ECC supremacy.
The 2025 spring season showcased the league’s depth and competitive balance, with multiple programs hoisting championship hardware. Southern New Hampshire earned titles in both Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1v1 and Overwatch 2, while Utica dominated in League of Legends and Valorant. Molloy claimed the SSBU 3v3 crown, and Concord captured the Rocket League title to round out a season of thrilling finals and diverse champions.
The fall competition sets the stage for an electric spring championship season, with all eyes turning to April 11, 2026, when the battle for the ECC crown officially begins.
