Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Jackson Doran, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Middle Distance | Lockport, NY
Doran raced to a first-place finish in the 1500m on Saturday afternoon at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational. He clocked a time of 3:58.82 to win in a field of 100 runners, which ranks second in the NCAA Division II East Region. Later in the day, he placed seventh in the 800m with a time of 1:56.20, as he raced in a field of 99 runners.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Jayden Bennermon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Jumps | Poughkeepsie, NY
Bennermon won four events at the 2025 Misericordia Twilight Meet, taking individual victories in the high jump field of 11 with a leap of 1.92m (6’ 3 1/2”), the long jump field of 22 with a vault of 7.07m (23' 2 1/2”), and the triple jump field of eight with a bound of 14.36m (47’ 1 1/2”) at the 2025 Misericordia Twilight Meet. All three marks are tops within the ECC. The senior Spartan also helped lead his 4x100m relay to victory in a time of 43.84.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Yulessa Johnson, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | Sprints | Brooklyn, NY
Johnson won the 100m in a field of 19 with a time of 13.0 and placed second in a 200m field of 24 with a time of 26.5 at the 2025 Misericordia Twilight Meet. The STAC freshman sprinter also anchored the first-place 4x100m relay (51.23, third-fastest in the ECC this spring) and placed third in the 4x400m relay (4:18.86, second-fastest in the ECC this spring).
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Zoe Shaw, District of Columbia
Junior | Kingston, Jamaica
Shaw recorded two ECC-leading marks at the NSU Invitational with a high jump mark of 1.61m for fourth place overall and a triple jump mark of 11.55m for third place overall. Her triple jump mark tops the NCAA Division II East Region while her high jump mark ranks second.

Luke Jarski, Molloy
Graduate Student | Sprints/Distance | Massapequa, NY
Jarski set two Molloy records this weekend at the Ursinus Festival. Individually, the senior finished fifth in a field of 60 in the 400m with a record time of 49.56. The mark is currently third in the NCAA Division II East Region. He then set a Molloy record as part of the 4x400m relay, running the race in 3:20.72 to finish second in the field of 27.
Thomas McConnelee, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | Throws | Carlisle, NY
McConnelee broke the school record in the hammer throw and improved his own record in the discus over the weekend at the Geneseo Invitational. On Friday afternoon, he smashed the school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.96 meters (185' 7”), breaking the old school record by more than 10 feet. He was second overall out of 47 throwers. The next day, he improved the school record in discus that he had set in the first meet of the year as he uncorked a throw of 56.16 meters (184' 3"). He was second overall out of 47 throwers.
Emmanuel Mena Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Graduate Student | Throws | West Haverstraw, NY
Mena Jimenez won the shot put field of 32 with a throw of 15.40m (50' 6 1/4”) and the hammer throw field of 24 with a toss of 61.76m (202' 7”) at the 2025 Misericordia Twilight Meet. Mena Jimenez’s hammer throw distance is an NCAA D2 Provisional mark, ranks atop both the ECC and NCAA Division II East Region, and currently sits sixth in the nation.

Kathleen Healy, Molloy
Junior | Distance | Malverne, NY
Healy set a new Molloy record in the 5000m at the Ursinus Festival, finishing in 18:18.77. The mark was good for second in the field of 26 and puts the junior at the top of the NCAA Division II East Region in the event. Her time bests the Molloy record set just last week by teammate Sabrina Spezia by over 10 full seconds.
Ayesha Jarrett, District of Columbia
Senior | St Ann, Jamaica
Jarrett ran two ECC-leading times at the NSU Invitational, clocking 1:00.48 in the 400m for ninth overall and 4:00.45 in the 4x400m relay to win the event.
Emmanuela Katou Kouami, District of Columbia
Junior | Bronx, NY
Katou Koaumi broke the UDC school record in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 49.31m to place second overall at the NSU Invitational. This mark tops the ECC this season and sits as the second-best mark in the NCAA Division II East Region.
Samantha Morrison, District of Columbia
Junior | Kingston, Jamaica
Morrison placed third in the 400m hurdles (1:07.64) and went on to win the 4x400m relay in an ECC-leading time of 4:00.45.
Jadyn Mullen, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore | Multis | Batavia, NY
Mullen traveled to Florida over the weekend to compete in the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic and placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a school-record time of 1:02.83. She took down the old record by nearly a full second in her first 400m hurdles run of the year.
Alexandrea Robertson, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | PV | Bradenton, FL
Robertson sailed to a second-place finish in the pole vault as she cleared 3.65 meters (11' 11 1/2”). She was second overall out of 21 vaulters.
Sabrina Spezia, Molloy
Senior | Distance | Centereach, NY
Spezia finished second in a field of 59 in the 1500m this weekend at the Ursinus Festival. Her time of 4:50.55 is good for fourth in the NCAA Division II East Region and bested a Molloy program record that had been in effect for four years by nearly nine full seconds.
