Men's Track Athlete of the Week
CJ Johnson, Daemen
Sophomore | Baltimore, MD
Against Division I competition from Buffalo, Niagara, LeMoyne, and Canisius, Johnson placed 11th out of 34 runners in the 800m with a time of 1:59.41. Johnson also made history for Daemen as he finished the 1500m with a school-record time of 4:03.48, placing 10th out of 34 runners with the fifth-fastest time in the ECC this season. Johnson ended the meet on a high note by anchoring the 4x400m relay that placed third in a field of seven (3:36.66).
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Emmanuel Mena Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Graduate Student | Throws | West Haverstraw, NY
Mena Jimenez won two events at East Stroudsburg’s All-American Meet, taking individual victories in the discus field of nine with a throw of 55.63m (182' 6") and the hammer throw field of 11 with a toss of 63.63m (208' 9”). Both marks are tops within the ECC and continue to set NCAA Division II Provisional standards. The hammer throw also tops the East Region while the discus ranks second. The STAC graduate student also placed third in the shot put field of eight with a hurl of 15.37m (50' 5.25").
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Yulessa Johnson, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | Sprints | Brooklyn, NY
Johnson won the 200m in a field of 16 with a time of 26.15 and placed second in a field of 12 in the 100m in a time of 12.66 at the East Stroudsburg All-American Meet last Friday. The STAC freshman sprinter currently ranks No. 2 in the 100m and No. 4 in the 200m for the ECC.

Sarah Ferguson, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore | Pole Vault | Lexington, KY
Ferguson won the pole vault competition at the University of Rochester Alumni meet on Saturday as she cleared 3.96m (12' 11 3/“4). She was first in a field of 17 vaulters. She currently ranks sixth in the nation and second in the East Region and ECC in pole vault.

Jayden Bennermon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Jumps | Poughkeepsie, NY
Bennermon won the triple jump event in a field of six at East Stroudsburg’s All-American Meet with a leap of 15.24m (50' 0"). The marks continue to set NCAA Division II Provisional standards. The STAC senior also placed second in the high jump field of five with a vault of 1.95m (6' 4.75") and seventh in the long jump field of 13 with a bound of 7.03m (23' 0.75") while helping lead the 4x100m relay to victory in 43.19.
Austin Melvin, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | Pole Vault | Central Square, NY
Melvin won the pole vault (invite only) competition at the University of Rochester Alumni Meet on Saturday as he cleared the 4.77m (15' 7 3/4”) bar. Melvin was first in a field of 14 vaulters in the invitational only portion of the event. He is currently the top vaulter ranked in the East Region.
Caleb Price, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | Distance | Magnolia, DE
Price finished third overall (in a field of 15 runners) in the 5K race at the University of Rochester Alumni meet with a time of 15:54.55 and became the fourth Roberts Wesleyan runner to be ranked in the top-7 of the ECC standings. His 5K time was the fastest of the week in the ECC.

Tukey Francis, District of Columbia
Junior | St. Ann, Jamaica
Francis ran two-ECC leading times at the Morgan State Legacy meet. In the 400m, she clocked in at 59.91 to place 19th in a field of 40. In the 200m, she clocked in at 25.53 to place 14th in a field of 52.
Rachel Horner-Richardson, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | Middle Distance | Cornish, NH
Horner-Richardson had a pair of solid finishes in her events at the University of Rochester Alumni meet on Saturday. She was seventh (of 31 runners) in the 800m with a time of 2:24.12 and then clocked a 4:45.73 to finish fourth (out of 38 runners) in the 1500m race. Her times rank ninth in the ECC for the 800m and second in the conference in the 1500m for the season.
Emmanuela Katou Kouami, District of Columbia
Junior | Bronx, NY
Katou Kouami threw an ECC-leading mark in the discus at the Morgan State Legacy Meet, hitting 38.53m to place eighth in a field of 23.
Samantha Morrison, District of Columbia
Junior | Kingston, Jamaica
Morrison hit two PRs at the Morgan State Legacy Meet. In the 400m, she placed fourth with a time of 1:06.68 and then went on to place second in a field of 23 in the 800m with a time of 2:15.64, which is the second-fastest time in the ECC and third-fastest in the East Region.
Lydia Smith, D’Youville
Graduate Student | Middle Distance/Jumps | Williamsport, PA
Smith had a strong weekend at the UB Alumni Invitational for the Saints. She won the 3000m steeplechase in a field of 10 in 11:31.82 and placed second in the javelin throw field of nine with a PR and ECC-leading mark of 30.74m. She also was a part of the Saints' 4x400 team that came in fourth out of eleven teams with a time of 4:13.42.
Sabrina Spezia, Molloy
Senior | Distance | Centereach, NY
Spezia set two records this week at the Rider Invitational. First, the senior ran a Molloy record time of 4:46.70 in the 1500m. The mark is a new Molloy record and was good for seventh in the field of 35. She then teamed with Carli Sheiffele, Kathleen Healy, and Megan Sohl for a program-record time of 9:57.82 in the 4x800m relay, finishing second in the field of four but first among collegiate participants.
