Defensive Player of the Week

Hayden Gaudette, St. Thomas Aquinas

Gaudette made 32 saves in 84:08 last week, beginning the week with 23 stops vs. 13 goals allowed in 54:08 against Molloy. With STAC trailing 11-3 at the half against Mercy, Gaudette came in and made nine stops vs. eight goals allowed in the second half. The STAC junior goalkeeper also secured four ground balls and a caused turnover on the week.

Rookie of the Week

Cody Coleman, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | M | Rush, NY
Coleman led the Roberts Wesleyan offense on Friday night as the Redhawks defeated D'Youville, 18-10, and clinched a spot in the ECC Tournament. The RWU freshman midfielder recorded seven points on four goals and three assists in the win while grabbing two ground balls and causing a turnover.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Garrett Kayser, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | GK | Geneva, NY
Kayser made nine saves to lead Roberts Wesleyan to an 18-10 win over D'Youville on Friday night. The win clinched a playoff berth for the Redhawks and was the fourth consecutive game in which Kayser has had at least nine saves.

Austin Maybee, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | M | Salamanca, NY
Maybee tallied six goals and two assists on 10 shots in two matches on the week, including a four-goal performance against Mercy. The STAC midfielder also scooped four ground balls.

Shawn McCabe, Molloy
Junior | D | Smithtown, NY
McCabe has been a backbone of the #17 Molloy defense all season and helped the team to only 7 goals allowed in a 2-0 week. The junior picked up four ground balls in both of the Lions' games and added a total of three caused turnovers. He also netted his first collegiate point with an assist against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Jimmy Osorio, Mercy
Graduate Student | A | Ronkonkoma, NY
Osorio had a game-high-tying four goals with two ground balls in Mercy's 19-9 win at STAC on Saturday. 

Vinny Rosario, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | FO | Ridge, NY
Rosario averaged .647 (22-for-34) at the dot this week for the Spartans against both Molloy (7-for-13) and Mercy (15-for-21) while picking up a combined 12 ground balls.

Ryan Smith, Mercy
Senior | A | Bethpage, NY
Smith had a game-high six points on two goals and a game-high four assists in Mercy's win at STAC on Saturday. 

Owen Stephenson, Mercy
Senior | D | Glen Rock, NJ
Stephenson had a game-high five caused turnovers to go with a team-high seven ground balls in Mercy's 19-9 win at STAC on Saturday.
