COLONIA, NJ – After winning its first ECC Women’s Bowling Championship on Sunday, Kutztown (63-43) is headed to the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Bowling Championship, as announced on the NCAA Selection Show on Wednesday afternoon.
The Golden Bears will bowl in the Pittsburgh Regional and face three-time Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association tournament champion Fayetteville State (57-12) in the opening round single-elimination mega-match next Thursday, April 3. The winner of that match will advance to face No. 2 seed Nebraska. On the other side of the Pittsburgh Regional are Arkansas St. and Maryville (MO).

The 2025 NC Women's Bowling Championship will have regional competition at four predetermined sites from April 3-5. The regional winners advance to the NC Championship played on April 11-12 at Suncoast Bowling Center in Las Vegas, NV.
All regionals are double elimination except for the play-in match at the five-team regional, which is single elimination. Each round consists of teams competing in a best-of-three match format, bowled in the following order: five-person team match; baker total pinfall, and best-of-seven baker match play. Regional competition will conclude with one team from each regional bracket advancing to compete in the championship.
