Kutztown Sweeps ECC Women's Bowling Major Awards; Sromovski, Brenneman, Reynolds Honored

COLONIA, NJ – The East Coast Conference women’s bowling All-Conference award winners were announced at the 2025 ECC Women’s Bowling Championship on Friday afternoon. Kutztown swept the accolades as senior Chloe Sromovski (Wilkes-Barre, PA) and freshman Kamryn Brenneman (York, PA) were selected the unanimous Bowler of the Year and unanimous Rookie of the Year, respectively, and head coach Angela Reynolds earned Coach of the Year honors. All voting was conducted by the league's nine head coaches.

Sromovski led the conference in the NTCA's Player Composite Performance Index at 98.1 percent. She also topped the ECC in overall individual scoring average, knocking down an average of 20.34 pins per frame, traditional format average frame (20.398), traditional format fill percentage (85.6), and baker format average frame (20.297). The three-time ECC Bowler of the Week recorded an extraordinary individual strike percentage of 51.7 percent and posted an individual first ball average pinfall of 9.05. 

A six-time ECC Rookie of the Week and four-time ECC Bowler of the Week, Brenneman ranked second among all ECC competitors in the NTCA's Player Composite Performance Index at 93.9 percent. She also ranked second in the ECC in overall individual scoring average, knocking down an average of 19.74 pins per frame, baker format average frame (19.87), baker format fill percentage (83.7), and individual strike percentage (47.1). 

Leading her team to 55 wins, including nine victories over then-nationally ranked programs in #12 Mount St. Mary's, #14 Duquesne, #20 Fairleigh Dickinson, #21 Delaware State, #22 Fairleigh Dickinson, #23 Felician (x2), and #24 Mercyhurst (x2), Reynolds collects Coach of the Year honors.

Joining Sromovski and Brenneman on the First Team are Bryant's Laura Clark, Daemen's Mollie Gizicki, and Molloy's Emily Kulkarni.

Second Team picks include Bryant's Olivia Hillman and Jenavieve Lyon, Kutztown's Megan Hanaway and Shelby Wunch, and Roberts Wesleyan's Amelia Ponto. D'Youville's Megan Kapsiak, Molloy's Michaela Palumbo, Roberts Wesleyan's Kaylee Stephens, and Saint Anselm's Callie Goulet and Katy McNemar comprise the Third Team.
