Ray led all ECC runners at the Golden Eagle Invitational, held at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, NY on Saturday. Paced by a 5:18.3 mile average, Ray crossed the 8k course in 26:22.4, good for third place in a field of 168 finishers.

Kaleb Rayle, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | Northfield, OH
Turning in the fastest time by a freshman, and sixth-fastest overall time by an ECC runner, at the Golden Eagle Invitational, Rayle averaged a 5:38.1 mile to cross the 8k finish line in 28:00.7, good for 18th in a field of 168 finishers. Finishing as STAC's top runner, Rayle led the Spartans to a fourth-place team finish in a field of 18 teams.
Women's Runner of the Week
Zoe Merryman, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Mahwah, NJ
Merryman won the individual title at the Golden Eagle Invitational, held at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, NY on Saturday. Paced by a 6:17.8 mile average, Merryman crossed the 5k course in 19:34.0, good for first place in a field of 162 finishers. Paced by Merryman, the Spartans finished second as a squad in a field of 17 with 59 points and an average 5k course time of 21:10.
Women's Rookie of the Week
Carli Sheiffele, Molloy
Freshman | Mount Sinai, NY
Turning in the fastest time by a freshman, and sixth-fastest overall time by an ECC runner, at the Golden Eagle Invitational, Sheiffele averaged a 6:44.6 mile to cross the 5k finish line in 20:57.1, good for eighth in a field of 162 finishers. Sheiffele's efforts, along with those of ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections Sabrina Spezia and Kathleen Healy, led Molloy to a first-place team finish, with 34 points and an average 5k course time of 20:42, in a field of 17 squads.

Baggatine's efforts, along with those of fellow ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections Aiden Watson and Luke Jarski, led Molloy to an ECC-best, second-place team finish among 18 teams.

Sophomore | East Meadow, NY
DeGregori rounded out the ECC's top-five fastest finishers at the Golden Eagle Invitational, placing 11th in a field of 168 finishers with an 8k time of 27:31.3.
Luke Jarski, Molloy
Senior | Massapequa, NY
Turning in the fourth-fastest overall time by an ECC runner at the Golden Eagle Invitational, Jarski crossed the 8k finish line in 27:21.6, good for ninth in a field of 168 finishers. Jarski's efforts, along with those of fellow ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections Peter Bagattine and Aiden Watson, led Molloy to an ECC-best, second-place team finish among 18 teams.

Watson turned in the third-fastest finish by an ECC runner at the Golden Eagle Invitational, turning in an 8k time of 27:13.6 to place eighth in a field of 168 finishers. Watson's efforts, along with those of fellow ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections Peter Bagattine and Luke Jarski, led Molloy to an ECC-best, second-place team finish among 18 teams.

Turning in the fourth-fastest ECC time at the Golden Eagle Invitational, Durcan crossed the 5k course in 20:14.6 for fifth in a field of 162 finishers. Durcan's efforts, along with those of ECC Runner of the Week Zoe Merryman, helped STAC to a second-place team finish in a field of 17 with 59 points and an average 5k course time of 21:10.

Healy turned in the third-fastest finish by an ECC runner at the Golden Eagle Invitational, turning in a 5k time of 19:55.5 to place fourth in a field of 162 finishers. Healy's efforts, along with those of fellow ECC Weekly Honor Roll selection Sabrina Spezia and ECC Rookie of the Week Carli Sheiffele, led Molloy to a first-place team finish, with 34 points and an average 5k course time of 20:42, in a field of 17 squads.
