Messiah Mallory, Staten Island

Mallory did it all for the Dolphins on Saturday to hand Saint Michael’s just its second loss of the season. The Staten Island junior forward dropped 30 points, shooting an efficient 13-for-21 (62 percent) from the field, dished out eight assists, and added five rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in the 101-93 victory.
Defensive Player of the Week
Noah Hutchins, D’Youville
Junior | Guard | Buffalo, N.Y.
Hutchins helped the Saints go 1-1 on the week, which included a 65-58 win over Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in which the D’Youville junior guard posted four steals to go along with four defensive rebounds and a block. On the week, Hutchins grabbed five defensive rebounds to go with 10 assists (5.0 per game), five steals, and a block with 7.50 points per game.

Dante Griffin, Queens
Junior | Guard | Utica, N.Y.
Griffin averaged 14.0 points on 52.9% shooting, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over two non-conference games on the week. Griffin began the week recording 10 points, and three rebounds against Wilmington on Wednesday evening before recording his second near triple-double of the year with a season-best 18 points on 63.6% shooting, 10 rebounds, nine assists, and one steal against Saint Rose Sunday afternoon.
Chase Jenkins, D’Youville
Sophomore | Guard | Titusville, Fla.
Jenkins helped the Saints go 1-1 on the week, which included a 65-58 win over Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. On the week, Jenkins averaged 18.5 points per game while going 14-for-28 (50 percent) from the field to go along with 6.0 rebounds per game.
James Patterson, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Guard/Forward | Richmond, Va.
Patterson led all scorers with 24 points for STAC in a 76-69 win over Pace. The sophomore guard/forward also grabbed nine rebounds, picked up two steals and rejected a Setters' shot in 31 minutes of action, as the Spartans claimed their ninth straight victory.
Kyle Pulliam, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Guard | Silver Spring, Md.
Pulliam recorded 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out three assists, and picked up a steal in the Spartans' 76-69 road victory at Pace.
Bryce Waterman, Staten Island
Graduate Student | Forward | Colonie, N.Y.
Waterman electrified the home crowd on Saturday, scoring 27 points in the Dolphins’ 101-93 victory over Saint Michael's. After dropping 20 points in the first half, the CSI graduate student forward went on to shoot 7-for-11 from three-point range, many of those makes coming from well beyond the arc.
