Offensive Player of the Week
Nicholas Tagios, Queens (Senior - Forward - East Williston, N.Y.)
Tagios recorded a team-high, eight-point match with three goals and two assists to help the Knights defeat D'Youville, 10-0. Tagios would score a first-half brace before completing his three-goal effort and added two assists in the second half as Queens clinched the No. 3 seed to the upcoming ECC Men's Soccer Tournament.
Defensive Player of the Week
Calle Olle Petter Gunnarsson, St. Thomas Aquinas (Freshman, Goalkeeper - Stockholm, Sweden)
Gunnarsson stopped nine of 10 shots faced, making seven saves in a 1-1 draw vs. East Stroudsburg and two saves in a 4-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan. The STAC goalkeeper allowed only one goal on the week, stopping a shutout streak of 367 minutes and 22 seconds, and carries a 10-0-4 record with a 0.89 goals against average and a .845 save percentage into the postseason.
Rookie of the Week
Alejandro Zuniga, St. Thomas Aquinas (Freshman, Midfielder - Naples, Fla.)
Zuniga tallied a goal and two assists in STAC's 4-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan in the Spartans' regular-season finale. The midfielder heads to the playoffs with 19 total points, which places him second on the team, while leading the Spartans in assists with nine.
ECC Weekly Honor Roll
David Akpan, Queens (Sophomore, Forward - Brentwood, N.Y.)
Akpan recorded a second-half hat trick in the Knights' 10-0 victory over D'Youville. Coming on a substitute, Akpan would record his hat trick over the final 14 minutes of play as Queens clinched the No. 3 seed to the upcoming ECC Men's Soccer Tournament.
Miguel Espinosa, Staten Island (Sophomore, Forward - Panama City, Panama)
Espinosa scored a highlight-reel goal in CSI's 1-0 win over Molloy, his team-leading eighth of the season. He registered three shots on goal, including what would go down as the match-winning goal that helped the Dolphins clinch the final spot in the upcoming ECC playoffs.
Kevon Evans, St. Thomas Aquinas (Junior, Forward - Ossining, N.Y.)
Evans recorded two goals in the Spartans' regular-season finale with Roberts Wesleyan, a 4-0 victory for STAC. The forward heads into the playoffs as the team and league leader in goals (12) and points (32), while sitting first on his team and third in the ECC in assists (8).
Johannes Hanken Tjostheim, Mercy (Sophomore, Forward - Aalesund, Norway)
Hanken Tjostheim had a match-high-tying four points on a goal and two assists in Mercy's 7-1 win over Daemen.

Rodriguez had a match-high-tying four points on a goal and two assists in Mercy's 7-1 win over Daemen.
