Sydney Gordon, D’Youville

Gordon helped the Saints go 2-0 on the week, accounting for eight points including seven goals and one assist on nine shots on goal. In the team's 11-10 2OT win against Molloy, a team that was receiving votes in the latest IWLCA DII Poll, Gordon scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime.
Defensive Player of the Week
Brinn Stworzydlak, D’Youville

Stworzydlak helped the Saints go 2-0 on the week with 25 saves, including a season-high 16 against Molloy, a team that was receiving votes in the latest IWLCA DII Poll. Against Molloy, Stworzydlak turned away all five shots in the fourth quarter and the two overtime periods. The D’Youville junior goalkeeper anchored the defense in the 11-6 win over Notre Dame and 11-10 win over Molloy. She added nine ground balls on the week.
Rookie of the Week
Riley Wallace, Mercy
Freshman | Midfielder | Islip, N.Y.
Wallace had three points on two goals and an assist with two ground balls and two caused turnovers as No. 23 Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The freshman had two goals, an assist, a ground ball, and two draw controls in Mercy's 18-0 win over UDC on Friday.

Leah Hansen, Mercy

Hansen had a team-high six points on a team-high five goals with one assist, one ground ball, one draw control and two caused turnovers as No. 23 Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior opened the week with a team-high four points on three goals and one assist with one caused turnover and one draw control in a tight 10-9 loss to No. 22 Assumption on Wednesday, recording her 100th career point. Hansen ended the week with two goals, a ground ball and a caused turnover in Mercy's 18-0 win over UDC on Friday.
Joanna Mauceri, Molloy
Senior | Midfielder | New Hyde Park, N.Y.
Mauceri topped Molloy with eight caused turnovers on the week, including matching a career-high five in a double-overtime loss at D'Youville. The senior also matched a career-high five ground balls against the Saints, totaling six in Molloy’s pair of losses on the week.
Lauren Parker, D’Youville
Sophomore | Defender/Midfielder | Syracuse, N.Y.
Parker helped the Saints to a 2-0 record on the week, grabbing six groundballs, causing five turnovers, and winning 13 draw controls. In the team's 11-10 2OT win against Molloy University, a team that was receiving votes in the latest IWLCA DII Polls, Parker grabbed four groundballs, caused three turnovers, and won eight draw controls.
Lucy Rugaber, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Attacker | Penfield, N.Y.
Lucy Rugaber led the Redhawks' offense last week with 10 points in two games. Rugaber scored two goals in an 8-7, overtime loss to No. 2 West Chester and followed up with six goals and two assists in a 16-7 win over Daemen on Saturday.
Megan Rugulo, Molloy
Senior | Attacker | Oceanside, N.Y.
Rugolo topped the Lions with eight points on the week, netting seven goals to go with one assist. The junior also topped the team with seven ground balls and seven draw controls to go with a pair of caused turnovers.
Lindsey Shimborske, Mercy
Junior | Defender | Farmingdale, N.Y.
Shimborske had a team-high 20 draw controls, six ground balls, three caused turnovers, and a goal as No. 23 Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior had a game-high 11 draw controls, five ground balls, one caused turnover and a goal in a tight 10-9 loss at No. 22 Assumption on Wednesday. Shimborske ended the week with nine draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball in Mercy's 18-0 win over UDC on Friday, recording her 200th career draw control.
Arianna Tribble, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Midfielder | Ridge, N.Y.
Tribble scored two goals and added two helpers over two games last week for STAC. She also scooped up seven ground balls, caused five turnovers and won six draw controls in that time period.
