Chrissie Huhn, Molloy

Huhn drove in 10 runs in a 5-1 week for the Lions, hitting .500 (10-for-20) with a double, a triple, and a home run for an .800 slugging percentage. The second baseman matched a career-high four RBI against Holy Family with a game-winning inside-the-park grand slam as well as against Georgian Court with a double and a triple. The lead off hitter also swiped three bases on the week.

Eliana Raposo, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Pitcher/Outfield | Wareham, Mass.
Raposo got it done on both ends of the field last week, registering two pitching wins and batting .438. The STAC standout tossed a three-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Felician and earned the win in a 9-8 ECC victory over Molloy. Raposo also went 7-for-16 at the plate for the week, with seven runs scored, a stolen base and four RBI. Her seven hits included three doubles and a triple.
Pitcher of the Week
Sophia Mariottini, Molloy
Freshman | Pitcher | Hollister, Calif.
Mariottini went undefeated in three complete games for the Lions this week, earning wins over STAC and Holy Family along with a shutout over Georgian Court. The freshman put up a 1.40 ERA in the circle, allowing just four earned runs to go with one shutout. In 20 innings, she sat down 22 batters, matching a career-high nine strikeouts against Holy Family. Offensively, the rookie also recorded her first career hit, going 1-for-3 in her first at bats. In the 2-1 conference victory over STAC, Mariottini allowed just one earned runs while striking out eight.
Rookie of the Week
Caylea Campbell, Queens
Freshman | Utility | Murrieta, Calif.
Campbell starred on both ends of the field as the rookie went perfect at the plate, batting 1.000 with a blistering slugging percentage of 2.500 and an on-base percentage of .833 with four hits, four RBI, two home runs, two runs scored, and a walk in the Knights 2-0 sweep over Mercy in ECC play. The rookie led the way in game one with a career-best performance of 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run, two RBI, and a run scored as the freshman recorded her first career three-hit performance in Queens’ 7-5 victory. In the nightcap, the rookie went 1-for-1 at the plate with a home run, two RBI, a run scored, and a walk as the Knights completed the Thursday afternoon sweep over Mercy with a 13-5, run-rule victory.
In the circle, Campbell earned a complete-game victory against Mercy with a career-best 12 strikeouts as she recorded her team-leading fifth victory of the year. The 12 strikeouts are the most by a Knights’ rookie in over a decade.
ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Amanda Baez, Queens
Junior | Centerfielder | Selden, N.Y.
Baez notched a .750 batting average with a slugging percentage of 2.000 and on-base percentage of .833 with three hits, two doubles, one home run, four RBI, three runs scored, and a walk in the Knights’ 2-0 sweep over Mercy in ECC play. In game one, Baez went 2-for-2 at the plate with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored in the 7-5 victory. In the nightcap, Baez went 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, a walk, and two runs scored as Queens earned a 13-5, run-rule victory.
Delaney Baker, Mercy
Sophomore | Catcher/First Base | Lambertville, N.J.
Baker hit .778 (7-for-9) with five RBI, two runs and two doubles in five games this week. The sophomore went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run at Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday before going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run at Queens on Thursday. Baker ended the week going 3-for-3 with two RBI in the game one win over Bentley on Sunday.
Steph Conrade, Molloy
Graduate Student | Outfield | Franklin Square, N.Y.
Conrade led Molloy with a .526 batting average on the week, going 10-of-19 with four RBI and four runs scored as well as five stolen bases.
Jessica Feerick, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | Infielder | Hyde Park, N.Y.
Feerick hit her first collegiate home run, a two-run blast in a loss to nationally-ranked Wilmington. The freshman infielder also drove in five runs on three hits in a 9-8 win over Molloy. For the week, she batted .333 (5-for-15) with nine RBI.
Mackayla Secoda, Mercy
Sophomore | Pitcher | Lansdale, Pa.
Secoda went 1-1 in the circle with a 2.14 ERA in 16.1 innings with eight strikeouts in four appearances. The sophomore opened the week pitching six innings with three earned runs allowed and four strikeouts at Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday. Secoda then pitched 3.1 scoreless innings of relief at Queens on Thursday before ending the week pitching seven innings with two earned runs allowed and two strikeouts to earn the win over Bentley on Sunday.
Nicole Smart, Mercy
Graduate Student | Second Base | Santa Clarita, Calif.
Smart hit .556 (10-for-18) with two RBI, a home run and a team-high six runs scored in six games. The graduate student went 2-for-6 at Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday before going 4-for-5 with two runs at Queens on Thursday. Smart ended the week going 4-for-7 with two RBI, a home run and four runs in Mercy's sweep of Bentley on Sunday.
Olivia Wanser, Staten Island
Freshman | Catcher/First Base | Westbury, N.Y.
Wanser hit .600 (9-for-15) this week and had six RBI in four games for the Dolphins. Of her nine hits, three went for extra bases, and the freshman hit safely in all four games that the Dolphins played this week. Most notably, she went 5-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI in the 12-11 CSI win over American International on Wednesday.
Aliveah Warner, Staten Island
Freshman | Infield | Toledo, Ohio
Warner hit .462 (6-for-13) with six runs scored and six RBI in four games this week. Of her six hits, two were doubles, and three of those came in one game against American International on Wednesday. In that 12-11 Dolphins win, the freshman also went 4-for-5 and had five RBI. She also drew three walks on the week to give her an on-base percentage of .529 across CSI's four games.
