Offensive Player of the Week

Megan Rugolo, Molloy
Junior | Attacker | Oceanside, N.Y.

The ECC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year started her 2024 campaign off with a 12-point week on 10 goals and two assists. Rugolo tallied five points on four goals and one assist in x/RV Molloy's 12-5, season-opening win over Franklin Pierce and added a career-high six goals en route to seven points in the Lions’ 16-12 win over Southern Connecticut, where she also forced three turnovers.


Defensive Player of the Week

Sophia Conzone, D’Youville
Junior | Defender | Syracuse, N.Y.

Conzone helped the Saints to a 1-1 record on opening weekend, grabbing six ground balls and causing six turnovers. In D’Youville’s 14-8 win over Post, Conzone was a menace on the defensive end with five ground balls and five caused turnovers.


Rookie of the Week

Keliah Tucker, District of Columbia
Freshman | Midfielder | San Diego, Calif.

Tucker scored two goals, picked up a team-high five ground balls, and forced a game-high three caused turnovers in the Firebirds’ 22-11 loss to Davis & Elkins.


ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Madison Handley, D’Youville
Sophomore | Attacker | Lancaster, N.Y.

Handley helped the Saints to a 1-1 record on opening weekend where she had six goals on eight shots on net and a pair of assists. In D’Youville’s 14-8, come-from-behind win over Post on Saturday, Handley scored all six of her goals in the fourth quarter to break a 5-5 tie going into the frame.

Joanna Mauceri, Molloy
Senior | Midfiedler | New Hyde Park, N.Y.

Mauceri led the x/RV Lions with 13 draw controls, six ground balls, and five caused turnovers to start the 2024 season. The senior also netted a point in both of Molloy's contests on the week, scoring in wins over Franklin Pierce and Southern Connecticut. 

Leena Moussa, Mercy
Junior | Attacker | Wantagh, N.Y.

Moussa had a game-high-tying five points on a team-high three goals and two assists in the No. 17/No. 18 Mavericks’ season-opening 14-8 loss at No. 3/No. 1 West Chester on Saturday.

Lucy Rugaber, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Attacker | Penfield, N.Y.

Rugaber scored four goals in a 17-7 loss to No. 1/No. 4 Pace and two goals in a 10-8 loss against No. 16/No. 17 St. Anselm. 

Jada Williams, District of Columbia
Junior | Midfielder/Attacker | Kingston, Jamaica

Williams posted seven points on six goals and an assist while winning a game-high nine draw controls in the Firebirds’ 22-11 loss to Davis & Elkins.
