Grace Dilena (Mercy)

Dilena had a team-high 32 kills and 5.33 kills per set on .355 hitting with 19 digs, three aces and two assists as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior opened the week with a match-high 16 kills on .433 hitting with 11 digs, three aces and one assist in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. The outside hitter ended the week with a match-high 16 kills go with eight digs and one assist in Mercy’s loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.

Stasa Stamenkovic (Mercy)
Jr., OH, Bor, Serbia, Barton CC
Stamenkovic had a team-high 24 digs and 4.00 digs per set with nine kills, two blocks, three aces and three assists as Mercy went 1-1. The junior opened the week with a match-high 14 digs to go with three kills, one block, two aces and one assist in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. Stamenkovic ended the week with a team-high 10 digs to go with one block, six kills, one ace and two assists in the loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.
Setter of the Week
Adriana Rivera Rodriguez (Mercy)
Sr., S, Humacao, Puerto Rico, American International College
Rivera Rodriguez had a team-high 69 assists and 11.50 assists per set to go with 16 digs, and four kills as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with a match-high 40 assists to go with 12 digs and three kills in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. The setter ended the week with 29 assists, four digs and one kill in the loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.
Rookie of the Week
Audrey Johnson (Daemen)
Fr., OH/DS, Mequon, Wis., Homestead
Johnson tallied a team-high 12 kills with just one error on 24 attacks to hit at a season-high .458 in Daemen's 3-0 sweep over Saint Michael's. The freshman notched her fourth double-double of the season, adding 10 digs along with two service aces in the win.

Ashley Ballou (D'Youville)

In DYU's lone contest of the weekend, a 3-1 victory over Assumption on Friday, Ballou recorded 29 assists and a season-high 13 digs. She also added 3 total blocks and 4 kills on the day, contributing 9 points toward the Saints winning effort.
Kaiya Banks (Queens)
Fr., S, Oceanside, CA, Rancho Buena Vista High School
Rookie setter Kaiya Banks posted a career-best 24 assists in the Knights’ 3-2 victory over Georgian Court. Banks added five digs, two service aces and two kills in the five-set victory.
Mikayla Haskell (Queens)
Fr., MB, Antioch, IL, Antioch
Rookie middle blocker Mikayla Haskell posted a career-best 15 kills while hitting .433 in the Knights’ 3-2 victory over Georgian Court. Haskell added three blocks and two service aces in the five-set victory.
Zoe Sercu (Queens)
Fr., OH, Ojai, CA, Villanova Preparatory School
Rookie Zoe Sercu recorded her third career double-double with a match-tying 15 kills and 13 digs in the Knights’ 3-2 victory over Georgian Court. Sercu added one service ace and one block in the five-set victory.
Adriana Zarceno (St. Thomas Aquinas)
So., OH, Oviedo Asturias, Spain, Colegio San Ignacio
Zarceno recorded 33 kills, a serve assist, a service ace and 17 digs over two road matches in 8 total sets against Felician and Adelphi last week. The STAC sophomore outside hitter also held a .183 hitting percentage in that span.

Founded as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1989 and rechristened the East Coast Conference in July 2006, the ECC was formed to enhance intercollegiate athletic competition among member institutions and to assist them in integrating athletics into their academic program in a fiscally sound way. The ECC is committed to the highest standards of scholarship, sportsmanship, teamwork, and citizenship. Its mission is to promote the total person concept in its student-athletes, which stresses the abilities to excel in academic achievement, athletic competition, and positive character traits. East Coast Conference members include: Daemen University (Amherst, N.Y.); University of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.); D'Youville University (Buffalo, N.Y.); Mercy University (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.); Molloy University (Rockville Centre, N.Y.); Queens College (Flushing, N.Y.); Roberts Wesleyan University (Rochester, N.Y.); College of Staten Island (Staten Island, N.Y.); and St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkill, N.Y.). The ECC also is home to 13 associate members in the sports of women’s bowling (3), men’s and women’s indoor track & field (3), men's volleyball (2), field hockey (1), and men’s lacrosse (1).
The ECC sponsors the following championship sports: baseball; men’s and women’s basketball; women's bowling; men’s and women’s cross country; field hockey; men’s and women’s lacrosse; men’s and women’s indoor track and field; men’s and women’s outdoor track and field; men’s and women’s soccer; softball; and men's and women’s volleyball.
The East Coast Conference is a proud member of the NCAA and Division II. Division II is a dynamic and engaging group of colleges, institutions and conferences of varying sizes and educational missions.
