Player of the Week

Sofia Marella, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore, DP, Cranston, RI
Marella batted an impressive .545 (6-for-11) with a triple, two homers, six RBI and four runs scored to lead STAC to a 4-0 record in the week to extend the team's win streak to 15 games and clinch the ECC Regular Season title.


Pitcher of the Week

Lauren Falk, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore, P, Highlands Ranch, CO
Falk tossed a 9-0 shutout against CSU and a 9-1 win against Queens. The sophomore righthander compiled an ERA of 0.70 in the week. Her 9-1 victory over the Knights clinched the ECC Regular Season Championship.


Rookie of the Week

Skyler Secondino, Molloy
Freshman, P, Seaford, NY
Secondino posted a .70 ERA this past week, throwing 20 innings and only allowing two earned runs. The freshman struck out three batters in six innings of work over Mercy. She threw a complete game shutout against Queens, striking out three in the 7-0 win. Secondino threw seven innings in the eight-inning win over D'Youville on Saturday, striking out another three batters and allowing only one earned run. At the plate, Secondino recorded two hits in the doubleheader against Mercy. In the games against Queens, the freshman totaled two RBI and one single. Closing out the week against D'Youville, Secondino had three hits, including a double, and one stolen base.



ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Franke Morris, D'Youville
Sophomore, IF, Lancaster, NY

Batted .733 with a 1.200 slugging percentage. Recorded 11 hits in 15 at-bats with seven RBIs, four doubles, two runs scored, and her first ever collegiate homerun.
 
Summer Clark, D'Youville
Senior, P, Williansville, NY

Batted .429 with three hits and two RBIs in seven at bats

 
Isabella Mancino, D'Youville
Junior, OF, Wyantskill, NY

Batted .417 with a .500 slugging percentage. Recorded five hits with three runs scored and a double.

Mackayla Secoda, Mercy
Senior, P, Lansdale, PA
Secoda went 1-1 with a 0.00 ERA in 9.2 innings with seven strikeouts across three appearances. The senior pitched a complete game with no earned runs allowed and six strikeouts to earn the win over Molloy on Monday. Secoda then pitched 2.0 scoreless innings of relief to close out the win in Mercy's game one win at CSI on Saturday.
 
Averi Miller, Mercy
Junior, SS, Las Vegas, NV
Miller hit a team-high .500 (7-for-14) with three runs, one RBI, two doubles and one stolen base as Mercy went 3-1. The junior went 2-for-3 with a run in the game two win over Molloy on Monday and went 5-for-8 with an RBI, two doubles and two runs in the split at CSI on Saturday.
 
Julianna Coluccio, Mercy
Junior, 3B, Sicklerville, NJ
Coluccio hit .429 (6-for-14) with one RBI, four runs and three doubles as Mercy went 3-1. The junior went 2-for-3 with a run and two doubles in the game one win over Molloy on Monday. The third baseman then went 4-for-8 with three runs, an RBI and a double in the split at CSI on Saturday.
 
Lauren McSweeney, Mercy
Sophomore, P, Islip, NY
McSweeney went 1-0 with a 0.70 ERA and three strikeouts in 10.0 innings. The sophomore pitched a complete game shutout with just four hits allowed to earn the win over Molloy in game two on Monday. McSweeney ended the week allowing one run in 3.0 innings at CSI on Saturday.
 
Madelyn Perrone, Mercy
Freshman, 1B, Ballston Spa, NY
Perrone hit .273 (3-for-11) with three RBI as Mercy went 3-1. The freshman went 1-for-3 with two RBI in the sweep of Molloy on Monday. Perrone drove in the go-ahead run in both games. Perrone ended the week going 2-for-8 with an RBI in the split at CSI on Saturday.
 
Emily McGurk, Molloy
Senior, INF, Baylon, NY
McGurk posted a .438 batting average this past week with a .500 slugging percentage on seven hits and two RBI.  McGurk recorded two hits in the doubleheader at Mercy, and totaled three hits in the games against Queens, including a double and one stolen base. Against D'Youville, the senior added another two hits, drove in two runs, and stole an additional base.
 
Adriana Coira, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, SS, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Coira batted .545 (6-for-11) with four doubles and five RBI. The senior shortstop also scored three times and stole two bases.
 
Elyse Marcano, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, 2B, Middletown, NY
Marcano batted .455 with five runs, four steals and two RBI. The senior second baseman collected five hits in 11 at-bats.
 
Emma Grace Popp, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, P, Buffalo, NY
Popp registered a 2-0 record with 14 strikeouts in 14 innings. The freshman pitcher tallied a 1.00 ERA in the week.
 
Abbie Morris, Staten Island
Junior, OF/INF, Sydney, Australia
In the two-game week, Morris went .384 at the plate (5-13) when she posted consecutive games with two hits against Mercy on Saturday when the Dolphins clinched their first ever ECC berth. In the doubleheader against the Mavericks, she recorded three runs and two stolen bases.
 
Marena Grenier, Staten Island
Junior, P, Whitmer, NY
Secured the win over Mercy through 9.0 innings pitched where she struck out five. With her fifth strike out of the contest, the junior set the record for the most strikeouts in a single season as she currently has 76 on the year.
