Players of the Week
Dylan Koch, Mercy
Junior, SS, Yorktown Heights, NY
Koch hit a team-high .611 (11-for-18) with a team-high six RBI and five runs as Mercy went 3-1 on the week. The junior also had a team-high four doubles with a home run, ending the week with a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .632 on base percentage. The junior went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the win over Queens on Thursday. Koch then went 5-for-8 with three runs, two RBI, two doubles and a home run in the split at Queens on Friday. The junior ended the week going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles and two runs in the win over Queens on Saturday.
Pitcher of the Week
Mihir Manerikar, D'Youville
Junior, RHP, Mississauga, Ontario
Manerikar pitched brilliantly in a crucial appearance in game one of the weekend series against STAC. Needing a win (and a Queens loss) to clinch the postseason, Mihir shut the door on the Spartans, giving up only 3 hits and no earned runs on the outing. He added 3 strikeouts over 15 batters faced to earn the save in a 7-2 Saints victory.
Rookie of the Week
John Harkins, Queens
Freshman, OF, Babylon, NY
In the final four-game ECC series of the season, rookie John Harkins batted .455 with a .714 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage. He totaled five hits, two home runs, five walks, four RBI, and a team-best seven runs scored. Harkins added two multi-hit games and one multi-RBI performance to close his rookie campaign with nine multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games.

Nevin Scaperotti, Mercy
Junior, P, Stormville, NY
Scaperotti allowed three earned runs in 6.0 innings with two strikeouts to earn the win in Thursday's win over Queens.
Zach Ashline, Mercy
Senior, OF, Colonie, NY
Ashline hit .500 (7-for-14) with a home run, five RBI, four runs, one double, one triple and one stolen base as Mercy went 3-1. The senior went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run in the win over Queens on Thursday. The outfielder then went 4-for-8 with four RBI, two runs, a double and a home run in the split at Queens on Friday. Ashline set a school record with his 26th career home run in the game one win. The senior ended the week going 2-for-3 with a run and a triple in the win over Queens on Saturday.
John Nisco, Mercy
Senior, OF, Tarrytown, NY
Nisco hit .467 (7-for-15) with two RBI, three runs, one double and two stolen bases as Mercy went 3-1. The senior went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the win over Queens on Thursday. The outfielder then went 3-for-8 with three runs and a double in the split at Queens on Friday. Nisco ended the week going 2-for-3 with an RBI in the win over Queens on Saturday.
Omar Giret, Mercy
Sophomore, P, New Fairfield, CT
Giret allowed no earned runs in 2.2 innings with one strikeout to earn his first collegiate win over Queens on Saturday.
Sean Mileti, Molloy
R-Senior, Pitcher, Oakdale, NY
Mileti made two appearances on the mound this week, marking one start. The left hander tossed two perfect innings of relief on Monday against St. Thomas Aquinas before getting the start Friday afternoon at Staten Island. Mileti picked up his fourth win of the season against the Dolphins pitching 6.2 innings allowing one run on five hits.
Steve Mulqueen, Molloy
Sophomore, OF, Wantagh, NY
Mulqueen stayed red hot at the dish in Molloy's 4-1 week, where he collected three multi-rbi games, and two multi-hit games while hitting .429 and slugging 1.048 marking the second straight week he's slugged over 1.000. Thursday afternoon, Mulqueen played hero collected his third walk-off hit this season clinching the game with a walk-off two-run home run in a game that saw him collect four hits, four RBI, three runs, and two home runs. The sophomore continued to see the ball well Friday, tripling home two runs before ending the week on Saturday with four runs, three hits, two doubles, and four RBI. On the week Mulqueen totaled nine hits, nine runs, eight RBI, four stolen bases, three doubles, two triples, and two home runs.
Sean Welsh, Molloy
Senior, 1B, East Meadow, NY
Welsh hit .476 and slugged .857 in Molloy's four win week that saw the senior totaled three multi-hit games where two of them were four-hit performances. Welsh collected four hits, three runs, and two doubles in Molloy's 7-5 triumph over CSI on Friday before totaling five RBI, four hits, four runs, and two home runs to lead the Lions to a game one victory in Saturday's doubleheader. Welsh concluded the week with two hits and two runs scored Saturday on senior day. On the week, Welsh scored 11 runs on 10 hits while totaling two home runs and five RBI.
Noah Kirwin, Queens
Freshman, RHP, Manorville, NY
In a no-decision during his fifth career start of the season, rookie Noah Kirwin delivered a career-best outing against Mercy in the final game of the year. Kirwin tossed 7.0 innings, allowing 10 hits and two earned runs while striking out five batters.
Vincent Mallon, Queens
Senior, OF, Massapequa, NY
In the final four-game ECC series of the season, senior Vincent Mallon led the Knights with a team-best .583 batting average, .700 on-base percentage, and 1.333 slugging percentage. He totaled seven hits, one double, one triple, two home runs, six walks, six runs scored, and a team-high eight RBI. On Friday, Mallon tied the program's single-season record with his 13th home run after belting two homers in game two against Mercy. He recorded a hit in all four games and posted two multi-hit and two multi-RBI performances, finishing the year with a team-best 19 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games.
Andrew Schoelles, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior, P, Bayside, NY
Schoelles hurled a three-hit shutout victory (8-0) over D'Youville in the Spartans regular season finale. The junior righthander also struckout five and only walked one over eight innings.
Alex Celeiro, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, OF, Bellmore, NY
Celeiro hit .267 with four hits in 15 at-bats with a double and two home runs. The senior outfielder also drove in four and scored twice in the week.
C.J. Cumbo, St. Thomas Aquinas
Graduate, OF, East Meadow, NY
Cumbo batted .333 with six hits in 18 at-bats, with four doubles. The graduate student outfielder also recorded two RBI and three runs scored in the week.
Jamel Vera, Staten Island
Junor, OF, Staten Island, NY
In the final series of the Dolphins regular season, the junior led the team with five hits, three runs, while drawing two RBI. In the win over Molloy on Friday, Vera brought in the critical go-ahead run for the 7-6 lead that gave the Dolphins their first win over the Lions since the early 2025 season.
