Player of the Week

Olivia Wanser, Queens
Junior, Designated Player, Westbury, NY

Across six games, junior Olivia Wanser paced the Knights with a .636 batting average, .810 on-base percentage, and a 1.455 slugging percentage. She totaled seven hits, three home runs, four runs scored, six RBI, and drew 10 walks. Wanser recorded three multi-hit games, including her second multi-home run performance of the season. In the ECC doubleheader split against STAC, Wanser was dominant, batting .833 with a .857 OBP and a 2.333 SLG. She tallied five hits, three home runs, six RBI, and four runs scored. Against Mercy, she drew six walks, as the Mavericks consistently pitched around her in key situations during two tightly contested games.


Pitcher of the Week

Lauren McSweeney, Mercy
Sophomore, Pitcher, Islip, NY

McSweeney went 2-0 in the circle with a 2.19 ERA and six strikeouts in 16.0 innings pitched across three appearances. The sophomore pitched 5.0 shutout innings with two hits allowed and one strikeout to earn the win in game two at Molloy on Thursday. The pitcher ended the week pitching an eight-inning complete game with just five hits and one run allowed to go with three strikeouts to earn the game two win at Queens on Saturday.


Rookie of the Week

Nielle Donahue, Queens
Freshman, Pitcher, Levittown, NY

Rookie right-hander Nellie Donahue made five appearances, including three starts, totaling 17.1 innings. She allowed 21 hits and 10 earned runs while striking out 17, finishing the week 1-0. In the ECC win over STAC, Donahue delivered a complete-game gem, needing just 71 pitches to limit the defending champions to three hits and one earned run while striking out five in a 7-1 victory.



ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Summer Clark, D'Youville
Senior, P, Williamsville, NY

Clark was key in the Saints game one victory over the CSI Dolphins on Saturday. The Senior threw the complete seven inning game in the circle recording a shutout, striking out five batters and only allowing six hits and one walk in the win.                                
 
Kendal Lehnen, D'Youville
Junior, P, Sherrill, NY

Lehnen had one of her best outings of the year in game two against CSI on Saturday. The Junior recorded a complete game shutout in the circle striking out four batters while only allowing six hits and no walks. This marks Lehnen's first shutout of the season to improve her record to 2-2.                  
 
Allison Murphy, Mercy
Junior, 2B, Stony Point, NY

Murphy hit .520 (13-for-25) with a team-high nine RBI, seven runs, one home run and two doubles as Mercy went 5-1 on the week. The junior also had two stolen bases. The second baseman opened the week going 5-for-8 with two RBI and two runs in the sweep of Bridgeport on Tuesday. Murphy then went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs in the game two win at Molloy on Thursday. The junior ended the week going 6-for-9 with five RBI, three runs, two doubles and a home run in the sweep at Queens on Saturday.                                  
 
Elizabeth Stark, Mercy
Senior, 3B, Lansdale, PA

Stark hit a team-high .529 (9-for-17) with four RBI, three runs and one double as Mercy went 5-1 on the week. The senior opened the week going 4-for-6 with three RBI and two runs in the sweep of Bridgeport on Tuesday. Stark then went 2-for-3 in game one at Molloy on Thursday before going 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run in the game one win at Queens on Saturday.                                
 
Averi Miller, Mercy
Junior, SS, Las Vegas, NV

Miller hit .455 (10-for-22) with four RBI, five stolen bases, four runs, one double and one triple as Mercy went 5-1 on the week. The junior opened the week going 3-for-8 with a run in Mercy's sweep of Bridgeport on Tuesday. The shortstop then went 4-for-4 with three RBI, a double and a triple, recording her 100th career hit in the Mavericks' game two win at Molloy on Thursday. Miller ended the week going 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in the game two win at Queens on Saturday.                         
 
Madelyn Perrone, Mercy
Freshman, 1B, Ballston Spa, NY        

Perrone hit .381 (8-for-21) with two RBI and four runs scored as Mercy went 5-1 on the week. The freshman opened the week going 3-for-6 with three runs and an RBI in the sweep of Bridgeport on Tuesday. Perrone then went 2-for-3 in game one at Molloy on Thursday before going 3-for-9 with an RBI and a run in the sweep of Queens on Saturday.                                 
 
Stevie Dabbadie, Molloy
Junior, P/UTL, Burbank, CA

Dabbadie hit .304 this past week on seven hits, including three doubles, and a home run, and drove in a total of four runs. In game two of a doubleheader against CSI, the junior went 3-for-5 at the plate with three doubles. Dabbadie drove in her first run against Mercy, and in game two against St. Thomas Aquinas, the junior hit a three-run home run.                         
 
Emma Grace Popp, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, P, Buffalo, NY        

Popp recorded a 2-0 week, with wins against Queens and Molloy, while posting a 3.00 ERA in 14.0 total innings of work. The freshman pitcher also struck out 16 opposing hitters and issued walks to only three others.                           
 
Olivia Leon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior, C, Stony Point, NY

Leon became the 39th player in program history to log 100 career hits, when she slammed a two-run homer in an 8-5 win over Molloy. For the week, the junior catcher batted .500 (7-for-14) with two home runs, a double, three RBI and six runs scored. She also excelled defensively behind the dish.                 
 
Sofia Marella, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore, DP, Cranston, RI

Marella batted .500 with seven hits in 14 at-bats. The sophomore designated player also had two doubles, an RBI and a run scored to help the Spartans go 3-1 on the week.                        
 
Marena Grenier, Staten Island
Junior, P, Clayton, NY

Currently recording a career best ERA with a 3.36 after the previous week when she only surrendered four runs. In both games in the previous week, she pitched two complete games (11.0 and 7.0) where she struck out a combined total of 13. On Saturday against, D'Youville, she recorded her 100th career strikeout.                              
 
Milene Mendoza, Staten Island
Junior, OF, Riverside, CA

In the previous week, Mendoza improved on the team's statistical standings where she sits second on the team with a .400 batting average backed by a stellar performance. Overall, she went 8-14 (.571) at the plate with two doubles, two runs, and a home run and two RBI. The junior's current OPS after the four-game stretch is first on the team at 1.104
