Player of the Week

Adriana Coira, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, SS, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Coira had four hits, including a pair of doubles and a triple in an 11-6 win over D'Youville to highlight a strong week both offensively and defensively at shortstop. For the week, the senior batted .571 (8-for-14) with a home run, a triple and three doubles, along with four RBI and five runs scored to help STAC post doubleheader sweeps against ECC opponents Mercy and D'Youville.


Pitcher of the Week

Nellie Donahue, Queens
Freshman, RHP, Levittown, NY
Rookie right-hander Nellie Donahue posted a 2-1 record on the week, tossing 20.0 innings while allowing 18 hits, six earned runs, and five walks, while striking out 24. In a 4-2 comeback victory over Dominican, Donahue set a Queens College softball rookie record with 15 strikeouts, becoming just the second freshman in Division II to reach that mark this season. In the 2-1 win over Jefferson, she allowed just three hits and one earned run with four strikeouts, surrendering all three hits over the first four innings before working three straight clean innings to secure her fifth victory of the year.


Rookie of the Week

Alyssa Bueno, Molloy
Freshman, INF, South Gate, CA
Bueno posted a .526 batting average this past week, with a .632 slugging percentage, and .591 on base percentage on 10 hits. In the win against Goldey-Beacom, the freshman went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI and a double. Against Dominican, Bueno totaled four hits, including a double.



ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Danielle Fenlong, D'Youville
Sophomore, OF, Georgetown, Ontario
Fenlong batted .462 this week across four games with a .538 slugging %. The Sophomore recorded six hits, four runs scored, two RBIs, and a double.
 
Frankie Morris, D'Youville
Sophomore, IF, Lancaster, NY
Morris batted .444 with a .667 slugging percentage this week. The Sophomore recorded two doubles with four RBIs and four runs scored while also recording four walks.
 
Gabby Moreno, D'Youville
Sophomore, C/ IF, San Diego, CA
Moreno batted .444 with a .556 slugging %. The Sophomore recorded four hits along with a double, an RBI, and a run.
 
Lauren McSweeney, Mercy
Sophomore, P, Islip, NY
McSweeney went 1-1 with a 3.23 ERA, two complete games and two strikeouts in 13.0 innings pitched. The sophomore allowed five runs at first-place STAC on Tuesday in six innings. The pitcher ended the week with a complete game allowing just one run and four hits while striking out two to earn the win in Mercy's game-one win at D'Youville on Sunday.
 
Allison Murphy, Mercy
Junior, 2B, Stony Point, NY
Murphy hit a team-high .538 (7-for-13) with a team-high six RBI, four runs, two doubles, one triple, a .600 on base percentage and .846 slugging percentage as Mercy went 2-2 on the week. The junior opened the week going 2-for-6 with two RBI, a double and a run at STAC on Tuesday. The second baseman ended the week going 5-for-7 with four RBI, one double, one triple and three runs in the sweep at D'Youville on Sunday.
 
Averi Miller, Mercy
Junior, SS, Las Vegas, NV
Miller hit .333 (5-for-15) with two runs, two RBI and one double as Mercy went 2-2 on the week. The junior went 2-for-7 with one run at STAC on Tuesday. The shortstop ended the week going 3-for-8 with two RBI, a run and a double in the sweep at D'Youville on Sunday.
 
Jessica Fox, Mercy
Sophomore, C, Rockaway, NJ
Fox hit .333 (2-for-6) with three RBI, a double and a run scored in two games this week. The sophomore went 1-for-2 with a run at STAC on Tuesday and ended the week going 1-for-4 with three RBI and a double in the game two win at D'Youville on Sunday.
 
Makayla Rady, Mercy
Freshman, OF, Wharton, NJ
Rady hit .375 (3-for-8) with two runs and one RBI as Mercy went 2-2 on the week. The freshman went 3-for-6 with two runs and an RBI in the sweep at D'Youville on Sunday.
 
Ava Zicchinelli, Molloy
Freshman, P, Miller Place, NY
Zicchinelli posted a 2.33 ERA this past weekend, striking out seven batters over 24 innings. Against, Goldey-Beacom, the freshman struck out three batters, and in the win over Dominican, she struck out an additional two, allowing only one hit.
 
Alexis Montgomery, Molloy
R-Sophomore, OF, Long Valley, NJ
Montgomery recorded a .409 batting average, .500 slugging percentage, and .435 on base percentage on nine hits. In the doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom, Montgomery recorded three hits, including a double, and drove in one run. In the sweep against Dominican, the redshirt sophomore totaled four hits and two stolen bases.
 
Kadie Cain, Queens
Junior, 3B, Hauppauge, NY
Junior Kadie Cain started all six games, hitting .353 with a .421 on-base percentage and .529 slugging percentage. She totaled six hits, including a double and a triple, drew two walks, scored one run, and drove in three. Cain recorded three multi-hit games during the week, increasing her team-leading total to 13 on the season.
 
Lauren Falk, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore, P, Highlands Ranch, CO
Falk registered important conference wins over Mercy (10-2) and D'Youville (8-3). The sophomore righthander compiled a 1.75 ERA with six strikeouts.
 
Nayah Diaz, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior, OF, Bayonne, NJ
Diaz slammed a pair of homers in a 10-2 victory over Mercy. The junior outfielder finished the week with an average of .333 (4-for-12) with four RBI and three runs scored.
 
Trinadey Santiago, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior, 3B, Cheshire, CT
Santiago batted .357 (5-for-14) with three doubles, three RBI and four runs scored.
 
Emma Grace Popp, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman, P, Buffalo, NY
Popp recorded wins over Mercy (5-4) and D'Youville (11-6), while compiling a 4.00 ERA and nine strikeouts.
 
Marena Grenier, Staten Island
Junior, P, Clayton, NY
Was one out away of throwing a no-hitter against the shut-out win against Queens on Sunday. The junior pitched a complete game against the Knights and struck out four. In the week she totaled five strikeouts and a 1-1 win/loss record.
 
Aliveah Warner, Staten Island
Junior, INF, Toledo, OH
Went 6-13 at the plate in the previous week with three doubles and four hits. One of her hits against Queens was her 100th career hit as a junior for the Dolphins.
