INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two East Coast Conference Women’s Basketball teams have punched their ticket to the 2026 NCAA Division II Tournament, as bracket selections were released late Sunday night.

ECC Tournament Champion and co-regular-season champion Daemen University, and co-regular-season champion Mercy University will be participating in the East Regional this upcoming weekend. The regional will be hosted by NE-10 winner Southern Connecticut State, based in New Haven, Conn.

Daemen was selected as a three-seed and will take on six-seed Felician, while Mercy earned a seven-seed and will take on second-seed Bentley in the first round.

Should both teams win, Mercy and Daemen would meet in the regional semifinals for a fourth time this season.

Game times will be announced on Monday.
