Rachel Salgado, Queens
Freshman | Infielder | Brentwood, N.Y.
Rookie infielder Rachel Salgado made a strong debut for the Knights during their four games at THE Spring Games, batting .429 with a 1.143 OPS, including a .714 slugging percentage and .429 on-base percentage. She recorded three hits, including a triple, while driving in one run and scoring once. In her first career start, Salgado delivered a multi-hit performance against Wayne State (Neb.), going 2-for-3 with a triple, one run scored, and one RBI.
