Offensive Player of the Week

Kayden Meyer, Mercy
Sophomore | Midfielder/Attack | Mastic, N.Y.

Meyer scored a game-high five goals to go with two caused turnovers, one draw control and one ground ball in Mercy's 13-11 win at Assumption on Saturday.

Defensive Player of the Week

Lauren Parker, D’Youville
Senior | Midfielder | Syracuse, N.Y.

Lauren Parker dominated the draw circle with 20 draw controls over two games, which is a massive possession advantage and directly impacts the defensive side by limiting opponents’ opportunities. On top of that, she added 4 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers, showing she wasn’t just controlling draws but actively disrupting opposing offenses and creating transition chances for the Saints.

Goalie of the Week

Molly Evans, Daemen
Sophomore | Fulton, N.Y.

Evans made nine saves in two Daemen wins last week. She stopped four shots against Walsh, including a big one in the fourth to prevent the Cavaliers from equalizing. Evans also allowed just four goals and made five saves in the win over Findlay. She only allowed one goal in the first quarter and none in the second and third.

Rookie of the Week

Sam Cossaro, Molloy
Freshman | Midfielder | Bethpage, N.Y.

Cossaro scored the first three goals of her collegiate career in Molloy's 19-4 win over American International. The freshman added an assist for a game-high four points. She also added two ground balls, a caused turnover, and a draw control.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Avery Castner, Daemen
Senior | Attack | Penn Yan, N.Y.

Castner tallied a team-leading five points, tying for the team lead in goals (4) while dishing out one assist in Daemen's 16-1 win over Lake Erie. She fired five shots, putting all of them on goal, and also collected one ground ball. Castner scored all four of her goals in the first half to help Daemen establish its large lead.

Lia MacDougall, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore | Midfielder | Saugerties, N.Y.
Sophomore Lia MacDougall had the hot hand for Roberts as she led the team offensively in both games to start the season. She finished the week with nine goals and an assist for 10 points including a career-best seven goals and eight points in the season-opening victory at American International.
