Defensive Player of the Week

Christian Cliff, D'Youville
Reshirt Senior | Defender | Toronto, Ontario

Cliff played a key role on the defensive end to help the Saints start the season 1-1 with seven caused turnovers and five groundballs. Cliff came up with key defensive stops in the teams 12-11 win over Point Park University, causing six turnovers while grabbing four groundballs. Cliff's six caused turnover ties a single game record with fellow teammate Logan Schwartz who set the new standard last season.

Henry made an immediate impact in his collegiate debut, helping lead the Firebirds in their season opener against Felician. In a narrow 7–6 contest, Henry recorded three assists and one goal, contributing to four of UDC's six scores. He also dominated the ground game, securing a game-high 10 ground balls and adding one caused turnover.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Obrigh Tallchief, D'Youville

Aiden O'Brien, District of Columbia
Junior | Defender | Sykesville, Maryland
O'Brien anchored the Firebirds' defense in their season opener, recording four caused turnovers and collecting three ground balls in a narrow 7–6 contest against Felician. His ability to disrupt offensive possessions and force turnovers played a critical role in limiting scoring opportunities and keeping the game within reach. O'Brien's defensive awareness and physical presence set the tone for UDC on the back end in the team's opening performance of the season.

Jake Taylor, Molloy
Senior | Attack | Shirley, N.Y.

Taylor kicked off the 2026 campaign with three points on two goals and an assist against Southern New Hampshire University. The senior was efficient all afternoon, netting the two goals on four shots on goal. He also added a ground ball and caused turnover in the effort.
