Hammond recorded the lone goal in the contest against the Wildcats on Saturday for the Dolphins 1-0 victory and their first ever win over Daemen.

Femke Demets (Mercy)
Sr., D, Avelgem, Belgium, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
Demets had a game-high two assists and helped lead a Mercy backline that posted a shutout, playing all 90 minutes, in the Mavericks' 3-0 win over defending ECC Champion Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.

Oksana Zahirna (Staten Island)
Jr., GK, Lviv, Ukraine, John Dewey High School
Zahirna recorded the shutout in goal for the Dolphins on Saturday as the squad defeated Daemen at home. The junior keeper recorded seven saves on the day to give the Dolphins their first ever win over Daemen and their first conference win this season.
Rookie of the Week
Emily Stefik (D'Youville)
Fr., F, Lewiston, N.Y., Lewiston-Porter Senior
Emily Stefik helped lead D’Youville to a 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, contributing one goal and two assists. Stefik scored the Saints’ second goal of the game and assisted on two additional goals, while recording three shots. Her game-high three-point performance helped D’Youville secure its third conference win of the season.

Becker made a game-high four saves to earn the shutout win in Mercy's 3-0 win over defending ECC Champion Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
Danica Brill (D'Youville)
So. F, Gores Landing, Ontario, Trinity College
Danica Brill powered D’Youville’s 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas with two goals on four shots, including two shots on goal. Brill scored the opening goal in the eighth minute and added another in the 40th minute to help the Saints build a 3-0 halftime lead. Her two-goal performance helped D’Youville secure its third ECC win of the season.
Carsyn Corydon (D'Youville)
So. D, Hackettstown, N.J., Hackettstown
Carsyn Corydon helped anchor a D’Youville defensive effort that produced a 9-0 shutout victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The defender started and played 72 minutes as the Saints limited St. Thomas Aquinas to just four shots and no shots on goal. D’Youville’s defensive performance helped secure its third ECC victory of the season.
Kayla Frasca (D'Youville)
So., F, Bolton, Ontario, Humberview
Kayla Frasca recorded two goals in D’Youville’s 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas. Frasca scored the Saints’ eighth goal in the 86th minute before adding another with just 14 seconds remaining, helping D’Youville close out the nine-goal shutout victory.
Samantha Hines-Hirsch (Queens)
Jr., GK, Plainview, NY, Plainview Old Bethpage JFK
Senior goalkeeper Samantha Hines-Hirsch posted a 1-0-1 record for the Knights. In Tuesday’s 3-1 victory over STAC, Hines-Hirsch earned her seventh win of the season. On Saturday, she recorded four key saves, including several crucial stops down the stretch, to help Queens secure a hard-fought 1-1 comeback draw against Molloy.
Ashley Kieblesz (Queens)
Sr., M, Middle Village, NY, Monsignor McClancy High School
Senior Ashley Kieblesz recorded a team-tying three points during a 1-0-1 week for the Knights. Kieblesz scored her team-leading ninth goal of the season and fourth game-winning goal of the year as Queens earned a 3-1 victory over STAC Tuesday afternoon. On Saturday, the senior recorded her first assist of the season on Anna Tavantzis’s equalizing goal as the Knights rallied to earn a 1-1 draw against Molloy.
Natalie Krelie (Daemen)
Sr., D, Bath, N.Y., Haverling
Krelie scored her first career goal on a strike from 30 yards out in Daemen's 1-0 win over rival D'Youville last Wednesday. She scored in the 27th minute, and it would end up being the game-winning goal. She also played 82 minutes in the game and helped the Wildcats' backline record a shutout.
Rylee Kumer (Daemen)
Jr., GK, Ambridge, Pa., North Catholic
Kumer logged her first shutout as a Wildcat during Daemen's 1-0 win over rival D'Youville last Wednesday. The junior made a pair of saves to earn the clean sheet.
Elyse Muñoz (Molloy)
Sr., GK, East Setauket, N.Y., Ward Melville
Muñoz made a pair of starts in goal this week, helping the Lions to a 1-0-1 record. The senior collected her fourth shutout of the season on Wednesday night, making four saves against Southern Connecticut in a 1-0 victory. Saturday against Queens, Muñoz made three saves in the Lions 1-1 draw against the Knights. On the week, Muñoz totaled seven saves, 87.5 save percentage, and .50 GAA.
Anna Tavantzis (Queens)
Sr., M/F, Holbrook, N.Y., Sachem High School
Senior Anna Tavantzis recorded a team-tying three points during a 1-0-1 week for the Knights. Tavantzis opened the week with an assist on senior Ashley Kieblesz’s game-winning goal in Tuesday’s 3-1 victory over STAC. On Saturday, the senior scored her fourth goal of the season to bring her season point total to 11 as Queens rallied to earn a 1-1 draw against Molloy.

Founded as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1989 and rechristened the East Coast Conference in July 2006, the ECC was formed to enhance intercollegiate athletic competition among member institutions and to assist them in integrating athletics into their academic program in a fiscally sound way. The ECC is committed to the highest standards of scholarship, sportsmanship, teamwork, and citizenship. Its mission is to promote the total person concept in its student-athletes, which stresses the abilities to excel in academic achievement, athletic competition, and positive character traits. East Coast Conference members include: Daemen University (Amherst, N.Y.); University of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.); D'Youville University (Buffalo, N.Y.); Mercy University (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.); Molloy University (Rockville Centre, N.Y.); Queens College (Flushing, N.Y.); Roberts Wesleyan University (Rochester, N.Y.); College of Staten Island (Staten Island, N.Y.); and St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkill, N.Y.). The ECC also is home to 13 associate members in the sports of women’s bowling (3), men’s and women’s indoor track & field (3), men's volleyball (2), field hockey (1), and men’s lacrosse (1).
The ECC sponsors the following championship sports: baseball; men’s and women’s basketball; women's bowling; men’s and women’s cross country; field hockey; men’s and women’s lacrosse; men’s and women’s indoor track and field; men’s and women’s outdoor track and field; men’s and women’s soccer; softball; and men's and women’s volleyball.
The East Coast Conference is a proud member of the NCAA and Division II. Division II is a dynamic and engaging group of colleges, institutions and conferences of varying sizes and educational missions. Division II members encourage and support diversity; value sportsmanship, fairness and equity; and place the highest priority on the overall educational excellence of the student-athlete.
