COLONIA, NJ – The East Coast Conference has announced the dates and sites of its 2025-26 championships schedule.
The ECC will conduct 20 conference championships, all of which will be broadcast on FloCollege. FloCollege is available on the web and for download on mobile devices (iOS and Android) as well as smart TVs and streaming devices Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and more. Men's and Women's Cross Country - Oct. 25
The Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship will be hosted by Queens at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY on Saturday, October 25. The men’s 8k begins at 10:00 AM, followed by the women’s 5k at 11:00 AM. The Roberts Wesleyan men and women have won their respective races for 10 consecutive years. Daemen is the multi-year defending runner-up - four times on the women’s side and three times on the men’s.
Men's Soccer - Nov. 5, 8, 15
The six-team Men's Soccer Championship begins with First Round competition on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. Semifinal play will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, with the title game set for Saturday, Nov. 15 at the highest remaining seed. In an underdog story for the ages, No. 6 District of Columbia upset No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan, No. 2 Mercy, and No. 5 Molloy – all on the road – in last year’s postseason to win its first-ever ECC Men's Soccer Championship title. Queens (2023), Mercy (2022), and Molloy (2021) had won the three previous ECC titles.
Women's Soccer - Nov. 6, 9, 16
In the same format as the men’s, the six-team Women’s Soccer Championship begins with the First Round on Thursday, Nov. 6 at the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. Semifinal play follows on Sunday, Nov. 9 at the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds while the title game is slated for Sunday, Nov. 16 at the highest remaining seed. Two-time defending champion Molloy has appeared in each of the last five title matches, winning four (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024).
Women's Volleyball - Nov. 21-22
The ECC’s fall championship schedule concludes with the Women's Volleyball Championship on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22. The No. 1 seed will host the four-team tournament in its home gymnasium. No. 4 D’Youville upset both No. 1 Daemen and No. 3 Mercy to win its first-ever ECC Women’s Volleyball Championship title last season. Daemen had won four of the previous five titles (2018, 2021, 2022, 2023).
Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field - Feb. 15
The ECC’s winter championships begin with the Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday, Feb. 15, to be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY for the 10th consecutive year. The Holy Family men won their third straight title last winter while the Roberts Wesleyan women took home their first indoor championship since the 2017-18 season.
Men's Basketball Mar. 4, 7, 8
The month of March brings the six-team Men’s Basketball Championship. First Round action begins on Wednesday, Mar. 4 on the home courts of the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. The Semifinals and Final are slated for Saturday, Mar. 7 and Sunday, Mar. 8 at the No. 1 seed. Daemen won the program’s first-ever ECC title last year, taking down St. Thomas Aquinas, who had won eight of the conference’s previous nine titles since 2016.
Women's Basketball Mar. 4, 7, 8
The month of March brings the six-team Women’s Basketball Championship. First Round action begins on Wednesday, Mar. 4 on the home courts of the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. The Semifinals and Final are slated for Saturday, Mar. 7 and Sunday, Mar. 8 at the No. 1 seed. Four-time defending champion Daemen has won five of the conference’s last six titles.
Women's Bowling - Mar. 20-22
The three-day event begins on Friday, Mar. 20 and concludes on Sunday, Mar. 22, with the site to be announced at a later date. Kutztown won its first-ever ECC Women’s Bowling Championship title last year, as the Golden Bears defeated the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks in the best-of-three Megamatch, 2-1.
Esports - Apr. 11
The ECC will host a virtual Esports Championship for League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3v3 and 1v1 on Saturday, April. 11. Southern New Hampshire (Overwatch 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1v1; Colby Russel - Cross), Utica (League of Legends and Valorant), Concord (Rocket League), and Molloy (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Crew) all earned titles at last spring’s championship.
Men's Volleyball - Apr. 24-25
The ECC’s spring championship schedule kicks off with the Men's Volleyball Championship on Friday, Apr. 24 and Saturday, Apr. 25, when the No. 1 seed will host the four-team tournament in its home gymnasium. In the conference’s second men’s volleyball season, the two-time ECC Champion St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans went an unblemished 24-0 in ECC sets last spring, going 6-0 in regular season action before sweeping both American International and Roberts Wesleyan in the ECC Championship Tournament.
Men's and Women's Tennis - Apr. 24-25
The ECC’s spring championship schedule kicks off with the Men's and Women’s Tennis Championship on Friday, Apr. 24 and Saturday, Apr. 25, with the site to be announced at a later date.
The men’s three-team field will see the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds play on Friday, Apr. 24, with the winner advancing to face the No. 1 seed on Saturday, Apr. 25. Three-time defending champion Queens has won seven of the last eight titles while St. Thomas Aquinas has faced QC in the last six finals, winning in 2022.
For the first time, the Women’s Tennis Championship moves to the spring. The last three ECC Championships have featured the same four teams as Daemen, District of Columbia, Queens, and St. Thomas Aquinas battled for the tournament title. Queens defeated St. Thomas Aquinas last fall, 4-1, while STAC took the two titles prior. The Knights of QC have appeared in each of the last 13 championship matches and have won three of the last six conference titles (2019, 2020, 2024).
Men's Lacrosse - Apr. 29, May 2
The four-team Men’s Lacrosse Championship begins with the Semifinals on Wednesday, Apr. 29 at the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, while the Final is set for Saturday, May 2 at the highest remaining seed. Molloy earned an 11-10 overtime upset over Mercy in the ECC Final last spring to win its first-ever conference title. Prior to that game, Mercy had won five consecutive ECC titles along with 44 consecutive games against conference opponents.
Women’s Lacrosse - Apr. 29, May 2
The four-team Women’s Lacrosse Championship begins with the Semifinals on Wednesday, Apr. 29 at the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, while the Final is set for Saturday, May 2 at the highest remaining seed. Molloy defeated Mercy, 15-13, in the ECC Final last spring to earn the Lions’ first-ever conference title. Mercy has played in the last eight finals, winning three times during that run (2019, 2022, 2023).
Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Apr. 30
Roberts Wesleyan will host the Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the RWU Outdoor Track on campus in Rochester, NY on Thursday, Apr. 30. The three-time defending champion Redhawk men have claimed four titles in the last five years while the District of Columbia women defended their trophy and took home their second consecutive ECC title last spring.
Softball - May 7-9
The four-team, double-elimination Softball Championship will run from Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9, with all three dates of competition to be played at the No. 1 seed. In a masterful, come-from-behind effort after dropping its first game of the tournament, No. 4 D’Youville took down No. 3 Molloy and No. 2 Mercy before upsetting No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas twice on Championship Saturday to win its first-ever ECC title last spring.
Baseball - May 7-9
The four-team, double-elimination Baseball Championship will run from Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9 at the Mitchel Athletic Complex, hosted by Molloy in Uniondale, NY. Two-time defending champion Molloy won its fourth title in the last five years last spring.
