Roberts Wesleyan's Brynn King Makes History as USTFCCCA Division II Women's National Athlete of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Roberts Wesleyan graduate student pole vaulter Brynn King has repeated as the USTFCCCA Division II Women's National Athlete of the Week, organization officials announced on Tuesday afternoon. King becomes the first NCAA DII female athlete to be named M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week three consecutive times during the indoor season. She previously earned national weekly honors on December 4 and December 11.

King earned the honor by taking down her own NCAA DII national record in the indoor pole vault for the third time this season, recording a mark of 4.46m (14' 7 1/2") at the Utica-Hutton Sports and Rec Dome during the Utica Winter Open. King remains the top vaulter in NCAA DII and has the second-, third-, and fourth-best marks in any division of the NCAA, trailing only Chloe Timberg of Rutgers (4.47m).
