Karker won the mile (4:20.02) in a field of 51 and ran the first leg of the 4x400m relay that finished first (3:37.39) in a field of 15 at the Houghton December Classic.

Nishorn Pierre, Holy Family
Junior | Jumps | Grenada
Pierre cleared the second-highest high jump height in all of Division II at the Fastback Season Opener, boasting an ECC-leading, NCAA provisional mark of 2.14m to win the event in a field of 12. The ECC Preseason Co-Athlete of the Year also placed fifth out of 48 competitors in the long jump with a collegiate-best mark of 7.09m, which ranks second in the ECC; the mark missed NCAA provisional qualification by just .04m.

Kylee Odell, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Middle Distance | Panama, N.Y.
Kylee Odell won the mile run in 5:17.67 (adjusted to 5:14.56) and ran the third leg on the winning 4x400m relay team (4:28.57, adjusted to 4:25.06) at the Houghton December Classic. The Roberts Wesleyan senior’s mile time leads the ECC while the 4x400m relay ranks second.

Brynn King, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Pole Vault | The Woodlands, Texas
In her first ever meet with the Redhawks, King broke the NCAA Division II women's indoor pole vault record at the Akron Haynes Lancaster Open on Friday night. The Roberts Wesleyan graduate student cleared 4.41m (14-feet, 5-1/2-inches), which broke the 14-year-old NCAA record (4.40m), previously held by Katelin Rains of Minnesota State and set in 2009. King is now the top vaulter in NCAA Division II and owns the second-best mark in any division of the NCAA. Her performance easily surpassed the NCAA provisional mark (3.70m) in the event.

Men's
Jayden Bennermon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Jumps | Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Bennermon won the high jump in a field of 16 with an NCAA provisional mark 2.04m at the TCNJ Indoor Opener. The St. Thomas Aquinas senior added a second-place finish in the triple jump (13.72m) in a field of 21. Both performances rank second in the ECC.
Javon Bowen, Holy Family
Sophomore | Multi-Events | Kingston, Jamaica
Bowen turned in an ECC-leading long jump mark of 7.38m to win the event in a field of 47 at the Fastback Season Opener. The NCAA provisional mark was the fourth-longest distance in all of Division II over the weekend and stands as Holy Family’s new school record. Bowen also placed sixth in the 60m finals (7.09).
Isaiah Davenport, Holy Family
Freshman | Jumps | Pleasantville, N.J.
Davenport cleared an NCAA provisional 2.04m in the high jump to place second out of 18 in his collegiate debut at the Fasttrack Season Opener. The mark ranks second in the ECC.
Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Throws | West Haverstraw, N.Y.
Mena-Jimenez finished third in the weight throw in a field of 14 at the TCNJ Indoor Opener, hitting an NCAA provisional and ECC-leading mark of 18.13m. The ECC Preseason Co-Athlete of the Year also placed fifth in a field of 15 in the shot put with a throw of 14.20m.
Women's
Jenna Capolupo, D’Youville
Freshman | Jumps | Wheatfield, N.J.
In her collegiate debut, Capolupo won the long jump (5.52m), placed second in the 200m (26.82), and took eighth in the 60m (8.09) at the Houghton University December Classic. The D’Youville freshman now owns the top performances in the ECC in both the 60m and long jump and ranks second in the conference in the 200m.
Talia Ferguson, Felician
Senior | Multi-Events | Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.
Ferguson hit the NCAA provisional mark for the high jump with a mark of 1.67m at the TCNJ Indoor Opener. The Felician senior won the event with that mark and also placed second in the long jump (5.62m), missing another national qualifier by just .03m. Both marks lead the ECC.
Maya Harper, Holy Family
Freshman | Middle Distance | Pleasantville, N.J.
Harper earned silver in the 800m at the Fasttrack Season Opener on Friday, crossing in 2:24.92, which sits as the second-fastest time in the ECC. The Holy Family freshman was also part of the 4x400m relay team that broke the school record with the fastest time in the ECC over the weekend at 3:58.31.
Chantoya Thomas, Felician
Junior | Sprints | Spanish Town, Jamaica
Thomas posted a first-place finish in the 400 meters in 59.53 at the TCNJ Indoor Opener. The time tops the ECC.
Hannah Thomas, Daemen
Graduate Student | Distance | Cheektowaga, N.Y.
Thomas led from start to finish in the 800 meters at the Houghton December Classic. She placed first out of 23 runners with a time of 2:25.43 and came just two seconds shy of her personal-best indoor time (2:23.86), which she set at the ECC Indoor Track and Field Championships last winter. The time tops the ECC.
