ECC Women's Volleyball Report - Week Nine

Player of the Week
Kiarra Roth, Molloy (Senior, OH - Bohemia, N.Y.)
In a 3-0 week in which the Lions did not lose a set, Roth led the way with 45 kills, 23 digs, five aces, and three blocks. The Molloy outside hitter had a career-high 21 kills in a critical league match-up at Mercy and averaged 5.00 kills per set on the week.

Defensive Player of the Week
Chye Davis, Molloy (Senior, MB - Houston, Texas)
Davis was a force at the net for the 3-0 Lions this week. The middle blocker tallied 13 blocks and 22 kills, including eight kills and five blocks at Mercy.

Setter of the Week
Caleigh Schroeder, Roberts Wesleyan (Sophomore, S - Maplewood, Minn.)
Schroeder recorded a league-high 70 assists to go with 28 digs and six kills in a 1-1 week for Roberts Wesleyan, including 48 assist in the 3-1 win over D’Youville.

Rookie of the Week
Charlotte Koerber, Daemen (Freshman, OH - Munich, Germany)
Koerber finished with nine kills and nine digs in Daemen's 3-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan. The Daemen outside hitter finished with a .269 hitting percentage and added two aces and an assisted block to her stat line.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Jasmine Brundage, Daemen (Senior, L - East Aurora, N.Y.)
Brundage averaged a league-high 5.67 digs per set with 17 total digs in a 3-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan.

Yarianne Gonzalez, Mercy (Senior, S - Manati, Puerto Rico)
Gonzalez had a team-high 68 assists and 11.33 assists per set to go along with 14 digs as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with 31 assists and seven digs against Molloy and ended the week with a match-high 37 assists with seven digs in the win over Queens.

Lindsay Osterhoudt, Queens (Sophomore, MB - Orlando, Fla.)
Osterhoudt recorded 15 kills hitting .600 and six blocks in the Knights 1-1 week in ECC play. Against STAC on Wednesday evening, the sophomore recorded seven kills on a .538 hitting percentage to go with three blocks and would conclude the week hitting .667 with eight kills to go with three blocks against Mercy.

Larissa Schneid, Mercy (Senior, OH - Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Schneid had a team-high 33 kills, 5.50 kills per set and 18 digs as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with a team-high 14 kills and 10 digs against Molloy and ended the week with a match-high 19 kills to go along with eight digs in the win over Queens.
