NCAA Fall Rankings
Central Islip, NY- Four ECC institutions make the top ten cut on both the Women's Soccer and Volleyball East Region Poll released by the NCAA on October 15. Additionally, two conference teams claim top eight rankings on the Men's Soccer East Region Poll.
C.W. Post leads the way in the East Region Women's Soccer Poll with an 11-1 overall and in region record. Bridgeport (11-2-1) takes the #3 spot while Adelphi (9-3-1) and Dowling (7-4-3, 7-2-3 in region) round out the top teams at #9 and #10.
Dowling leads the ECC schools on the Volleyball Poll as they boast a 21-4 overall record with an unblemished 18-0 mark in regional play. Bridgeport claims the #5 spot on the poll with a 14-8 in region mark. Adelphi (17-7, 12-5 in region) and Queens (15-6, 14-6 in region) follow at #7 and #8 respectively.
Dowling also claims a #2 ranking on the Men's Soccer Poll as they stand at 8-2 overall and in region. Bridgeport sneaks in at the #8 with an 8-2 in region record and a 10-2 overall mark.
