Player of the Week

Edward Ege, Adelphi (Jr., A, Rockville Centre, N.Y. / South Side) - Notched six goals and handed out a team high 12 assists in a 2-0 week. In a 21-8 win over Mars Hill, Ege posted 12 points on four goals and eight assists. He followed that up with a two-goal, four-assist performance in a 11-7 win over Bentley.

Goalkeeper of the Week

Rob Humann, Molloy (Sr., GK, Hicksville, N.Y. / Hicksville HS) - In a 2-1 week, registered a 6.03 GAA with 24 saves.  In a 17-3 victory over Farmingdale, Humann made three saves and allowed one goal.  During the 14-8 victory over Seton Hill, he recorded eight saves and eight goals.  In the 6-5 loss to Merrimack, Humann had 13 saves and allowed six goals. 

Rookie of the Week

Ryan Bohlert, Molloy (Fr., A, East Patchogue, N.Y. / Bellport HS) - Recorded six goals in a 2-1 week.  In a 17-3 victory over Farmingdale, he notched two goals. In a 14-8 victory over Seton Hill, Bohlert had two goals.  He closed the week with two goals in a 6-5 loss to Merrimack. 

ECC Notebook

ECC: In this week's USILA Division II national top 10 poll, NYIT remains No. 2, C.W. Post remains No. 4, Dowling remains No.5, Molloy dropped one spot to No.9 and Mercyhurst dropped one spot to No. 10.

NYIT: Junior Keith Henderson and sophomore Austin Carino each netted three goals in the Bears 14-6 win over Bryant University on Saturday. Junior Matt Messina and sophomore Matt Sullivan both scored a goal and passed out three assists in the win.

C.W. Post: The Pioneers dropped a close match to top-ranked Le Moyne, losing 8-6 in a non-conference matchup at Hickox Field.  Matt Dimler scored two goals for the Pioneers, while Joe Meo added a goal and an assist.  Dan Sciulla made 10 saves in goal for C.W. Post, who next takes on Wheeling Jesuit on Mar. 21 at 4 p.m.

Molloy
: Molloy went 2-1 for the week.  On March 12, the Lions defeated Farmingdale, 17-3 and on March 14, Molloy took a 14-8 victory over Seton Hill.  The Lions first loss of the season came from Merrimack, 6-5, on March 16.  Jeffrey Flandina had eight goals and an assist, while Keith Galante contributed six goals and four assists.  Ryan Bohlert pitched in with six goals. 

Adelphi: Adelphi moved over .500 for the season with wins over Mars Hill (21-8) and Bentley (11-7) last week. The Panthers outscored their opponents 32-15, averaging 16 goals per game. Adelphi also gave up just 7.5 goals per game as Devin Schneiderbauer and Drew Smith teamed up to make 15 saves. Junior Edward Ege helped the Panthers to a 2-0 week on the strength of 18 points. Ege scored six goals and handed out a team high 12 assists in two wins. In a 21-8 win over Mars Hill Ege posted 12 points on four goals and eight assists. He followed that up with a two goal and four assist performance in a 11-7 win over Bentley.
