Grace Dilena (Mercy)

Dilena had a team-high 49 kills and 4.45 kills per set on .402 hitting with 19 digs as Mercy went 3-0 on the week. The junior opened the week with 10 kills, five digs, one block assist and two assists in the win at Pace on Tuesday. The outside hitter then had 23 kills, eight digs, and one assist in the come-from-behind five-set win at Monroe on Thursday. Dilena ended the week with a match-high 16 kills to go with six digs, one ace and one assist in the win over Chestnut Hill on Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kamila Colon (Mercy)

Colon had a team-high 49 digs and 4.45 digs per set with 12 assists and six aces as Mercy went 3-0 on the week. The sophomore opened the week with a match-high 22 digs to go with two aces, and one assist in the win at Pace on Tuesday. The libero then had a match-high 22 digs with five assists in the come-from-behind win at Monroe on Thursday. Colon ended the week with five digs, six assists and four aces in the win over Chestnut Hill on Saturday.
Setter of the Week
Adriana Rivera Rodriguez (Mercy)
Sr., S, Humacao, Puerto Rico, American International College
Rivera Rodriguez had a team-high 111 assists and 10.09 assists per set with 35 digs, three block assists, nine kills and five aces as Mercy went 3-0 on the week. The senior opened the week with a match-high 25 assists to go with three digs, one ace, three kills and one block assist in the win at Pace on Tuesday. The setter then had match-high 53 assists with 20 digs, two block assists, two aces and two kills in the come-from-behind five-set win at Monroe on Thursday. Rivera Rodriguez ended the week with a match-high 33 assists and 12 digs to go with four kills, and two aces in the win over Chestnut Hill on Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Amelie Gasche (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Fr., OP, Oekingen, Switzerland, Kantonsschule Solothurn
Gasche recorded 62 kills, two serve assists, four service aces, 13 digs, two solo blocks and seven block assists over five road matches in 18 total sets against Georgian Court, Jefferson, East Stroudsburg, Southern New Hampshire and Holy Family last week. The STAC freshman opposite hitter also held a .291 hitting percentage in that span.
Weekly Honor Roll
Stepanka Bicistova (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Fr., S, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, Hotelova skola Hradec Kralove
Bicistova totaled seven kills, 90 assists (5.0 assists per set), seven service aces and 58 digs over five road matches in 18 total sets against Georgian Court, Jefferson, East Stroudsburg, Southern New Hampshire and Holy Family.
Avery Craig (Daemen)
Jr., OH, Tomball, TX, Tomball Memorial HS
Craig led the Wildcats offensively with 49 kills (2.8 kills/set) and 33 digs (1.9 digs/set) at the Crimson Hawk Classic this weekend, shining on Friday in a big way. The junior outside hitter totaled 36 kills (3.6 kills/set) and 36 digs off back-to-back double-doubles along with four aces and one block in Daemen's five-set victories against Lake Erie and West Liberty.
Jaslynn Daily (Queens)
Fr. S, Seattle, WA, West Seattle High School
Rookie setter Jaslynn Daily recorded a career-best performance, totaling a team-best 72 assists, 32 digs, four blocks and five kills across three matches for the Knights. Daily opened the week with 13 assists and six digs against Felician Thursday evening. At the SCSU Tri-Match, Daily recorded 21 assists, seven digs and one block against Southern Connecticut State. Against Franklin Pierce, the Washington native delivered a career-best performance and her second double-double of the season with 38 assists, 19 digs and three blocks. During a marathon second set in which Queens and Franklin Pierce combined for 76 points, Daily tallied 14 assists.
Audrey Johnson (Daemen)
Fr., OH, Mequon, Wis., Homestead HS
Johnson led the Wildcats with 37 kills, averaging 2.17 kills/set along with 29 digs, 7 blocks and five aces in Daemen's 2-2 weekend at the Crimson Hawk Classic. The freshman outside hitter finished with a double-double (11 kills, 12 digs) in the five-set victory against Lake Erie and was one kill shy of a second double-double in Daemen's loss to IUP on Saturday.
Boglarka Kiss (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Sr., L, Szeged, Hungary, Szegedi Deak Ferenc Gimnazium
Kiss recorded 27 set assists and 88 digs over 18 total sets in five road matches against Georgian Court, Jefferson, East Stroudsburg, Southern New Hampshire and Holy Family. The senior libero also posted seven service aces in that same span.
Madeline O'Brien (D'Youville)
Sr., OH, East Amherst, N.Y., Clarence
O'Brien had a standout weekend recording 45 total kills throughout four games with 28 kills on Friday and a team high 15 kills against Shawnee State. The Senior also recorded 10 blocks, 21 digs, and eight serving aces throughout the weekend to help the Saints go 3-1 on the road.
Cameron Ulinski (D'Youville)
Jr., OH, Bretten, Germany, Marjory Stoneman Douglas
Ulinski recorded 42 kills for the Saints in their 3-1 weekend on the road. The Junior also recorded eight serving aces and 43 digs.

Founded as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1989 and rechristened the East Coast Conference in July 2006, the ECC was formed to enhance intercollegiate athletic competition among member institutions and to assist them in integrating athletics into their academic program in a fiscally sound way. The ECC is committed to the highest standards of scholarship, sportsmanship, teamwork, and citizenship. Its mission is to promote the total person concept in its student-athletes, which stresses the abilities to excel in academic achievement, athletic competition, and positive character traits. East Coast Conference members include: Daemen University (Amherst, N.Y.); University of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.); D'Youville University (Buffalo, N.Y.); Mercy University (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.); Molloy University (Rockville Centre, N.Y.); Queens College (Flushing, N.Y.); Roberts Wesleyan University (Rochester, N.Y.); College of Staten Island (Staten Island, N.Y.); and St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkill, N.Y.). The ECC also is home to 13 associate members in the sports of women’s bowling (3), men’s and women’s indoor track & field (3), men's volleyball (2), field hockey (1), and men’s lacrosse (1).
The ECC sponsors the following championship sports: baseball; men’s and women’s basketball; women's bowling; men’s and women’s cross country; field hockey; men’s and women’s lacrosse; men’s and women’s indoor track and field; men’s and women’s outdoor track and field; men’s and women’s soccer; softball; and men's and women’s volleyball.
The East Coast Conference is a proud member of the NCAA and Division II. Division II is a dynamic and engaging group of colleges, institutions and conferences of varying sizes and educational missions.
