STAC's Mena Jimenez Qualifies for NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

SPARKILL, NY – St. Thomas Aquinas College Outdoor Men's Track & Field star Emmanuel Mena Jimenez has qualified to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo and held at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl in Pueblo, Colorado on May 22-24.

Mena Jimenez (Gr./West Haverstraw, N.Y.) will be making his fifth appearance at a Division II National Championship, having competed in both the indoor (2024 & 2025) and outdoor championship meets (2023, 2024 & 2025) in his collegiate career.

In his third straight outdoor championship, Manny will battle D2's best in both the Hammer Throw and Discus competitions, where he finished the regular season with tosses ranked seventh (63.63m/208'9") and eleventh (55.63m/182'6") in the country respectively. Mena Jimenez won the Hammer and placed second in the Discus at the East Coast Conference Championships and hit his first provisional marks back in late March at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational.

Manny will be in action on Thursday, May 22 at 5:30 p.m. EDT for the Hammer Throw and Friday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. EDT for the Discus. You can watch all of the action LIVE on NCAA.com.
