District of Columbia Men's Tennis Concludes Season at NCAA East Regional Championship

FLUSHING, NY – The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team concluded its 2025 campaign in the NCAA Division II East Regional with a hard-fought 4-0 loss to No. 4-seeded Adelphi University at the Queens College Indoor Tennis Bubble.

Adelphi secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner put up a strong effort at the top spot but fell 6-3, while the duo of Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner were defeated 6-2.

In singles play, senior Louis Mangeon retired early in his match at No. 1 after dropping the first set. Adelphi secured straight-set victories at No. 4 and No. 5 to clinch the match. The remaining three singles matches were unfinished, with Louka Queguiner locked in a 6-6 battle at No. 2, Oskar Karos leading in the second set at No. 3, and Ghali Ouajahat Filali ahead at No. 6 after taking the first set.

The Firebirds finish the season with an 8-9 overall record and make back-to-back NCAA postseason appearances
