Henry Ronnberg, St. Thomas Aquinas 
Sophomore | Ahus, Sweden
Ronnberg went 5-0 over three matches, going 3-0 in doubles and 2-0 in singles against Assumption, Yeshiva, and North Carolina Central last week. Against Assumption, the STAC sophomore took No. 1 doubles with partner Seth Newman over Herman Aguirre and Luigi Bassani, 6-4 and No. 5 singles against Bernardo Blancho 6-2, 6-0. Next, Ronnberg with teammate Kylan Feruglio won No. 2 doubles against Yeshiva's David Cattan and Jacob Feit, 6-0. Finally, the Ahus, Sweden native scored a No. 2 doubles victory with Seth Newman over North Carolina Central's Kareem Abdul Hakim and Oliver Saarinen, 6-3 and a No. 6 singles triumph against Oliver Saarinen 6-2, 6-2.

Rookie of the Week

Alexis Martin-Gibiard, Queens
Junior | Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France
Martin-Gibiard went 2-0 in the Knights’ ECC opener over the District of Columbia on Friday afternoon. Martin-Gibiard along with partner Adam Laur opened the day helping the Knights clinch the doubles points at No. 1 doubles with a 6-4 victory over Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner. He would conclude his afternoon earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Elouan Queguiner at No. 4 singles.

Honor Roll

Loup Alleno, Queens
Sophomore | Paris, France
In an undefeated 2-0 week for the Knights, Alleno completed a 3-0 week with victories at No. 1 and No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles. The QC sophomore began the week earning a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Assumption’s Luigi Bassani at No. 1 singles. Alleno would complete an undefeated day in ECC play over the District of Columbia on Friday afternoon. Alleno and partner Lucas Foix Sotos dispatched UDC’s No. 2 pair of Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner to the score of 6-1 before the French native earned a 6-1, 6-3, two-set victory over Palma at No. 3 singles.

Tim Andersson, Queens 
Sophomore | Linkoping, Sweden
Andersson went 2-0 in an undefeated week for the Knights. The sophomore and rookie partner Samuel Link earned a 6-4 victory over Assumption’s Luigi Bassani and Herman Aguirre at No. 1 doubles. In the Knights’ ECC opener, Andersson made quick work of District of Columbia’s Louka Queguiner at No. 2 singles, dropping just one point as Andersson opened ECC play earning a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

Lucas Foix Sotos, Queens
Junior | Javea, Spain
Foix Sotos went 2-0 in the Knights’ ECC opener over the District of Columbia on Friday afternoon. Foix Sotos opened the afternoon earning a victory at No. 2 doubles with partner Loup Alleno as the duo defeated the Firebirds’ No. 2 pair of Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner to the score of 6-1. Foix Sotos completed his afternoon clinching the match for Queens at No. 1 singles as he defeated Louis Mangeon to the score of 6-1, 6-2.

Oskar Karos, District of Columbia 
Senior | Warsaw, Poland
Karos went 2-0 against Queens, winning his singles and doubles matches. In doubles play he teamed up with Filippo Vatteroni to defeat their opponents 7-5 at No. 3. He then went on to defeat Adam Laur in a three-set match-up 6-4, 2-6, 1-0(7), at No. 5 singles.

Nagamitsu Kuroda, St. Thomas Aquinas
Freshman | Tokyo, Japan
Kuroda went 3-0 with two doubles wins and one singles win over three matches against Assumption, Yeshiva and North Carolina Central last week. Against Assumption, the freshman took No. 2 doubles with partner Don Vinz Lominoque over Hugo Petersson and Jakob Bordt, 6-4. Next, Kuroda defeated Yeshiva's Matan Kamhi 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Finally, the Tokyo, Japan native scored a No. 1 doubles victory with Don Vinz Lominoque over North Carolina Central's Hugo Hidalgo Vega and Rodrigo Alves, 7-5.
