Queens Claims Regular Season Title, Bracket Set for Men's Soccer Championship

COLONIA, N.J. – The six teams that will compete for the 2025 East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Championship crown and the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Championship are set. No. 1 Queens and No. 2 Roberts Wesleyan have earned byes into the ECC Semifinals while No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas, No. 4 Mercy, No. 5 District of Columbia, and No. 6 Molloy will battle in ECC First Round action this Wednesday, November 5.

Ticket prices are $10 for general admission adults and $5 for students (with ID), senior citizens and children 5 and up; children under 5 are free of charge. In addition, cash will not be accepted, so walk-up tickets at the venue still must be purchased through tickets.eccsports.org.

2025 ECC MEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

Queens earns the No. 1 seed after finishing the regular season 12-3-3 (6-0-2 ECC) and 20 points in conference play. In Saturday's match-up for the ECC Regular Season Championship, the Knights took down Roberts Wesleyan, 4-1, to earn their second straight regular season title. Queens, who won its first-ever ECC Championship in 2023, will host the winner of Wednesday's First Round match-up between No. 5 District of Columbia and No. 4 Mercy on Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 PM. 

Roberts Wesleyan takes the No. 2 seed after sporting a 9-2-6 (4-1-3 ECC) record and 15 conference points, winning the tiebreaker over No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas by winning the head-to-head match-up, 1-0, on October 25. The Redhawks are still on the hunt for their first ECC Championship crown and will host the winner of Wednesday's First Round match-up between No. 6 Molloy and No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, November 8 at 3:00 PM. 

First Round match-ups will commence this Wednesday, November 5, with No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas (6-7-2, 5-3-0 ECC) hosting No. 6 Molloy (3-6-7, 2-1-5 ECC) at Spartan Field in Sparkill, N.Y. and No. 4 Mercy (7-5-5, 3-1-4 ECC) hosting No. 5 District of Columbia (8-3-4, 3-2-3 ECC) at Mercy Field on Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. The Spartans defeated the Lions on the road, 4-2, on October 4 while the Mavericks and Firebirds played to a scoreless draw in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. on September 20.
