#15 Mercy Earns Regular Season Crown, Bracket Set for ECC Women's Soccer Championship

COLONIA, N.J. – The six teams that will compete for the 2025 East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Championship crown and the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Championship are set. No. 1 Mercy, ranked 15th in the nation, and No. 2 Molloy have earned byes into the ECC Semifinals while No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan, No. 4 Daemen, No. 5 Queens, and No. 6 D'Youville will battle in ECC First Round action this Thursday, November 6. 

Each match of the championship will be streamed live on FloCollege

Ticket prices are $10 for general admission adults and $5 for students (with ID), senior citizens and children 5 and up; children under 5 are free of charge. In addition, cash will not be accepted, so walk-up tickets at the venue still must be purchased through tickets.eccsports.org.

2025 ECC WOMEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

#15 Mercy earns the No. 1 seed after finishing the regular season 13-2-2 (5-0-2 ECC) and 17 points in conference play. The Mavericks took down D'Youville, 6-2, on the road on Saturday to earn the fourth ECC Regular Season Championship in program history. Mercy, who has won three ECC Championships, most recently in 2022, will host the winner of Thursday's First Round match-up between No. 5 Queens and No. 4 Daemen on Sunday, November 9 at 1:00 PM. 

Defending champion Molloy takes the No. 2 seed after sporting a 11-2-4 (4-0-3 ECC) record and 15 conference points. The Lions have appeared in each of the last five ECC Championship Finals, winning four of them during that span, and begin their postseason journey by hosting the winner of Wednesday's First Round match-up between No. 6 D'Youville and No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday, November 9 at a time still to be determined at the time of this release. 

First Round match-ups will commence this Thursday, November 6, with No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan (8-3-4, 4-1-2 ECC) hosting No. 6 D'Youville (2-10-3, 1-5-1 ECC) at Roberts Stadium in Rochester, N.Y. and No. 4 Daemen (10-5-1, 4-2-1 ECC) hosting No. 5 Queens (2-8-6, 1-3-3 ECC) at Royal Park in Amherst, N.Y. The Redhawks and Saints played to a 1-1 draw in Buffalo, N.Y. on October 7 while the Wildcats defeated the Knights at home, 3-1, on October 4.
